There's a great camera app called Fjorden; it's completely free (doesn't even have in-app purchases at all). Has all the needed features: manual mode, raw, and also can shoot video. July 11, 2023iPhone 11 Pro Max - black screen w/ back camera and flash is not working… I’ve tried everything including a factory reset with everything erased and updating to the latest ios. The 0.5x and 2x lens worked initially but are now black screens too. Anyone know how to fix this?
Hardware problem, flash and camera are part of same module, needs camera replacement. Book in at an AppleStore or mail in to AppleCare if under warranty should be a free repair. More on reddit.com

The iPhone 11 is has pretty decent camera. The Canon has the longer reach. If you were planning on taking the Canon, it's not like you weren't going to have your phone with you anyway. The Canon is a point and shoot, so there's not a lot to learn. You have 6 weeks to figure it out, it won't take more than 6 hours. ;-) That said, I've never taken a picture with a phone, probably never will unless they stop making cameras. I've seen some really excellent pictures taken with the iPhone. I've been to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. Amazing place. I'd definitely take both, god forbid you miss an awesome picture fumbling around. There is a ton of interesting wildlife, and the extra reach of the Canon will come in handy. More on reddit.com

I use stock 90% of the time and for most shots, even for RAW. I use Halide the other 10% of the time when I want to manually focus or want to use focus peaking and shoot RAW. I never use it for regular shots.
