I’ve used the OtterBox Symmetry clear case for a few generations and loved it. After a year or two, the area around the buttons does get a little warped but that’s not a big deal. It’s deceptively very protective. The fact that the edges are slightly raised means a fall is unlikely to actually make much contact with the screen itself. I’ve dropped my phone so many times on hard surfaces and never had a single crack.

But now I’m in a dilemma with my 12 Pro Max order. Those OtterBox cases for 12 aren’t MagSafe compatible. Who knows if I even like MagSafe that much and use it often, but I want to at least give it a shot. Went with Apple’s leather case and MagSafe wallet, but may end up eventually switching to the OtterBox if I feel the leather doesn’t offer much protection.
