The iPhone 13 has a smaller notch than on the iPhone 12 and the earpiece speaker is in a different place, so using a screen protector designed for the iPhone 13 Pro Max on the iPhone 12 Pro Max would work but may cover the camera, might interfere with FaceID, and might cover the earpiece speaker. It would be better to buy the proper screen protector for your device. Answer from MGNConflict on reddit.com

June 11, 2018 - I’ve Tech21 Tint (got Tech21 case on each iPhone I’ve own) and a Belkin screen protector. ... Just a tip, don’t buy a clear case from speck! It’s literally too tight. It’s such a hassle just to put the case on and even worse to take off.

r/iphone on Reddit: Does the iPhone 12pro really need a screen protector?

So I’ve been an iPhone user for the last 10 years from the 4 all the way up now to the 12Pro and have always used screen protectors mostly for peace of mind. The 12/12Pro is claimed to have much stronger glass and overall be a much tougher phone than any previous iPhone (standard apple marketing of course). I’ve always used a glass screen protector on my iPhone for years and while it does serve a function, it does look a little tacky.

I rarely ever drop my phone and take pretty good care of it and the glass screen protectors very very rarely get scratched or chipped anyway (assuming they also use a much weaker and lower grade glass than the current iPhone screen glass too).

Is there minimal risk using no screen protector on the 12pro and have people used theirs without one and had no issues?

Best Screen Protector for IPhone 12 (new iPhone user)

I’m totally new from Android and luckily got a good deal on iPhone 12 so hoping so kinda get good protection (I know ceramic shield and all is truly protective but it’s wayyy to fragile feeling for me to go without a case and screen protector.) but I’m more open to thinner or clear cases and weaker but maybe more vivid screen protectors as this point because of it though.

I’m picking up the clear mous case, hopefully not too bulky (does anyone have this and knows how it looks/feels?)

Does anyone know iPhones best screen protector? Honestly if it means a more vivid or slick screen, I don’t care about price for it. What screen protectors bring through the most light the nicest to touch and swipe for iOS gestures etc, does anyone have their opinions?

TIA!!!!!!!!!!

June 18, 2020 - Can someone confirm tempered glass protector for 12 Pro Max fit on 13 Pro Max? I know the they are both 6.7" but the notch is different so I'm not sure if they will fit each other. ... Welcome to the subreddit for all things iPhone13 ProMax!

Just curious to see...

I have a screen protector on my current phone (iPhone X), but on my previous phones, I went without it. I've never had any issues dropping my phone or anything like that, as I usually take very good care of my investment, but I do admit I kinda like not having to worry about the small micro scratches on the screen. I absolutely hate those.

I pre-ordered the 12 Pro with two cases and a magsafe charger but I'm thinking of going without the screen protector this time.

iPhone 12 pro max - screen protector or not? | MacRumors Forums
April 13, 2021 - I have not used screen protectors for at least the past 6-7 years. Up until the 12 Pro Max, I figured that I would get micro scratches from being in my pocket even though it resides there alone never anything else with it. After I guess 4 months now, I can see no scratches of any kind on the 12 PM.

I preordered a skin and screen protectors for my 12 Pro Max from Dbrand. I assumed that the two pack screen protectors I bought for my phone would be the dbrand prism screen protector. It looks like they're just normal tempered glass screen protectors though. There's no Prism branding on the order page, and no other marketing claims anywhere about these screen protectors. Anyone know what's going on with these? I hope they're high quality and not some cheap stuff like what you find on amazon; also hope that they're full coverage with no bs cutouts around anything.

Will be my first upgrade in a while, wondering what brands everyone recommends/uses for cases and tempered screen protectors. I don’t mind spending a little extra for good quality but I’ve heard to stay away from Apple’s own cases.
