Accessories to get for Using iPhone 13 Pro as a Camcorder Replacement for My Dad
SmallRig has a cage for the iPhone 13 Pro, I think it’s the 3562 (?), you can add side handles, it also has a cold shoe mount.
Add two side handles, maybe a mic like the Rode Wireless ME or the DJI Mic (1 or 2 work both) and you’ll have your dad a versatile little setup he can store in a satchel.

Well, iPhones in general have hella support when it comes to photography accessories so companies like Sandmarc, Moment, and Beastgrip all make lenses that mount through their respective cases. Beastgrip and Smallrig offer pre-fit cages that work with their smartphone lenses as well as even Moment lenses as well. There are also universal fit cages meant for smartphones of most sizes if you don’t like the form fit ones.

My dad has made home videos his whole life—usually travel, but also events. He's always used a camcorder and is currently using an outdated digital one.
He recently got an iPhone 13 Pro, which is much less bulky and more convenient to use (and it shoots better quality video than his current camcorder).
What are a couple of good, simple, not-too-bulky accessories we can get him so he can quickly turn it into a video camera during travels/events?
I'm thinking at least some kind of handle so it's easier to hold and won't fall, but also maybe a microphone? From making videos on my iPhone 12 mini, I know that ambient sound can often overpower narration.
Thanks for any suggestions!
