Have you tried removing the magnet from the Otterbox case? I’m not sure if that would completely solve the problem because there are still the corresponding magnets in the iPhone itself… maybe adding a small piece of sheet metal in the divot left behind when removing the MagSafe sticker. Hey folks, I work in a steel mill and my MagSafe otterbox case is constantly attracting a ring of steel dust on the backside. I’m curious if anyone knows of a non-magnetic phone case I can find to prevent this issue? No matter what I google, every single decent phone case is MagSafe compatible.

I've always liked the Symmetry line from Otterbox and only noticed after I put this case on that the box states it's compatible with MagSafe.
I have no way to test this right now and the only thing I've found online are about the Symmetry+ line with the magnets in the case.
Can anyone confirm?
Also it's kind of odd that it says it's for both the 13 and 12 mini. Seems to fit ok though.

Wireless charging should work. MagSafe accessories should work too but probably not as well as with the Symmetry “Plus” cases.

The box states it’s compatible with MagSafe charger, which makes sense, but I don’t think any other MagSafe accessory will work properly without the magnets in the case
