I never really buy the newest or most premium iphones typically sticking with budget phones from my 5c,SE 1st gen, SE 2020 and then my first purchase of a premium phone albeit a little old last year with my XS and it was great but only lasted me a year before it crapped out so i decided that with a little extra money to spare around this time i wanna buy a used 13 pro but is it really worth it I’ve been considering a 12 for a while but the 13 pro has so much going for it my only issue with the XS was battery and screen size but the 13 pro improves in both im fine with the price but im really just looking for other people experiences with it.

Honestly the 13 Pro is legitimately the best iPhone Apple has made since the iPhone 5. It has the absolute essentials that you need and the camera is still absolutely Fantastic! The iPhone probably won’t make the next huge step till maybe the next 5 iPhones sooo if you’re gonna get the 13 Pro you’re not gonna regret it

Hi! Been wanting to buy an iphone as a gift for myself, but I don't want to spend much since the holidays are coming and I want to spare some budget for that too.
Due to limited budget, I can only get the 13 pro instead of the 14 (It's a big leap in prices for me). But, I see a lot of bad reviews on 13 pro especially on its camera. I also can see this first hand as we use my aunt's phone (13 pro) during travels and I can attest to the overly saturated photos.
Can you kindly share your thoughts/reviews on iphone 13 pro as a whole? Has its issues been resolved during the past/latest software update? Is it worth it?
or is it more worth it to exceed on my allotted budget to get the 14 pro?

With Raw, the camera is good, but I recommend to tweak photos. There is simple tricks, like tuning down the clear light, then tuning up the shadows, then tuning up vibrancy and Colors a little. Just a exemple, but the good thing is this works with almost everything, and on iOS, you can copy/paste your preset, from a photo to another. Heating issues in summer, while playing it’s understandable but the phone get really hot when it’s something like 30 degrees Celsius. The phone is heavy. But it’s a good phone. Good battery, good screen, the photos, even without modifications, are good, there is a world without this horrible AI that destroys all zoom for photos, but the overall picture is good most of the time. Just, raw means modification, and the Pro lineup has the chance to get ProRaw. The best thing is to use it I think. I’ve hesitated to got the 15 Pro, because of storage, and usb C, and the better camera, but I really think the 13 Pro is still very good, and the 14 P and 15 P doesn’t worth the change.

On the camera side I don't really use it often but I have noticed some differences from ios 16 to 17 The battery is the main selling point here. My partner has 14p and mine is 13p. Hers is running at 98% while my older 13p is still at 100% tho she uses a lot of social media screen time, I am more into gaming (PUBG, FL84) I can confidently leave home below 80% and return from work with around 30% Bottomline is, think of which feature is more important to you
