I got them and have found the quality quite poor. Would not recommend. To me low quality products aren’t sustainable even if the case is ultimately compostable, as you have to replace it more often which uses more energy, likely generates more manufacturing waste, and requires more energy for shipping. Imo the best way to be eco friendly with phone cases is to get one that will last the longest and protect your phone the longest. While materials matter, and where you buy(thrift vs new) matters, it would be a lot less ecofriendly to have to get another phone and case if it didn't do it's job. More on reddit.com

This case was purchased at Pela case, it’s very rubbery feeling and protects my phone well. I know it’s hard to see the design but it has a turtle on the back. My other favourite design are the bee ones. It’s made from plants and recycled materials, It’s compostable! It’s feel tougher than the cheap silicone cases. Most the reviews from others have been good. I’ve seen one bad review but that’s because the person was allergic to the materials used (flax straw fibre). It’s a bit pricey but for a good cause!
