Apple has tested the iPhones on all their adapters up to 140-watts with no issues, as has Consumer Reports and others. The iPhone uses only the power it needs - up to 20 watts for regular iPhones, max 27 watts for Pros, and max 29 ways for Pro Maxes. Same with Apple certified adapters and cables. So maximum supported and tested adapter is 140-watt Apple adapter.
