r/iphone on Reddit: iPhone 14 Pro Max 60hz display
April 11, 2023 -

Hello. I have 14 pro max and use it everyday. My eyes recognize when it’s 60hz( I had iPhone 11 and also I have 144hz monitor). Yesterday we bought 14 pro max to my wife, when I turned it on and restored from iCloud I see that is 60hz! Not even more. In options 60hz lock is turned off. How it can be? My wife says it’s ok , but I can see real big difference!

r/iphone on Reddit: Is the 120hz display on the 14 pro noticeable coming from a 60hz display?
January 31, 2023 -

I'm thinking about upgrading the phone I'm typing this from right now (the LG G6) but I'm having problems deciding between the 14 Pro & the 14 base model? The dynamic island looks useful but I could easily be without that I feel. The faster processor and higher refresh rate has me leaning towards the Pro (but) I'd love to know whether or not the difference in speed/performance is noticeable enough to justify the £200 price difference between the two. I'll mostly be calling, texting, and browsing a few social media apps as well as youtube. I don't play mobile games very often if ever.

Thanks!
