Hello I've just switched to a 16 pro and have been searching for a clear case with the camera control cover and some good protection.

Ive been looking at cases on Amazon, mostly seen from brands like ESR, Spigen, Speck, and Otterbox but reviews are mixed and I can't put my full trust on any.

What are some cases you have used and can recommend or tell someone to stay away from?

There seem to be many haters. I personally like mine—my only complaint is the lack of protection on the bottom edge. Two things I want to point out that are not usually mentioned:

1. Apple's case is of higher build quality. Most of the cheaper clear cases (ESR, Casekoo, Torras, Spigen) are constructed from two separate pieces, an edge bumper and a back plate (see photos). Apple's case is one solid, continuous piece, which is better for aesthetics and durability (my last iPhone's case started falling apart this year, see second photo).

2. It's $35 on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGHH7S34). You don't have to pay $50 on Apple's website.

Not here to convince anyone to buy the case or start a debate, just wanted to share the knowledge.
