I assume all MagSafe wallets are interchangable. In the past I've always gotten an ID case w/ the card slots built into the case, but that means I can't use the MagSafe portion to charge.
Wanted to try something different this time w/ a MagSafe wallet, what are some that you guys would recommend?
- Which one holds the most carts + cash?
- Which one has the best grip to the phone and which one has the best grip on the cards starting with one to three cards?
- Which one is the most versatile in that it can best be used as a kickstand, or a standalone wallet?
- Which ones should I avoid due to bad quality, or just the parts loosening up over time faster than others?
TIA!
Looking for a good MagSafe wallet that has a strong magnet, can fit 3-4 cards and that looks good for under $50. Any recs? Thanks!

Hung on to that bad boy for 2 years. It was my third one, knew I was saving it for something.
I’m upgrading from an old iPhone that had a case with a built-in card slot on the back. I found it super convenient for carrying my credit card, but now that I mostly use Apple Wallet, I don’t rely on the physical card as much.
I’ve been looking for iPhone 17 cases with card slots, but most don’t have a style I like or the reviews aren’t great. So now I’m thinking of just getting a regular case and using a magSafe wallet when I need it.
Does anyone here prefer magSafe wallets over built-in slots (or vice versa)? Any downsides?
Some cases on my radar based on positive reviews include caudable sheath, Torras (the one without the 360 ring), and even a $15 Kowauri branded case with a card slot in back.
Long story short, l'm considering whether to use a MagSafe wallet full time. Although I'm a tech head and have used plenty of MagSafe accessories, I never switched over to MagSafe wallets.
On the one hand, l'm still a traditional wallet carrier. My main reason was for security as I was worried about losing both my phone AND wallet if I misplace my phone. Additionally, I've always been worried about the wallet coming off and I don't notice. On the other hand, I barely carry any cards lol (an ID, a debit and credit card). I also don't carry cash. Only do so when I know I will need it. As a result, l use primarily thin wallets or card holders, which a MagSafe wallet could entirely replace AND allow me to carry one less item when I leave the house.
What has y'all's experience with MagSafe wallets been like? Should I give them a go for once?
Hey all!
I have an iPhone 13 Pro and got the leather Apple MagSafe wallet when I purchased it a few years ago.
Unfortunately the time has come to replace the wallet but was bummed out to see Apple no longer sold the leather and the fine woven is a big step down in quality (especially for 60 bucks smh)
I’m looking for any recommendations on any MagSafe wallet at a reasonable price. Def prioritizing magnetic strength (can’t be losing it) and durability ! I only use it to carry 2 cards so space for additional cards/money is not needed.
If possible I’d prefer one to match my forest green iPhone just like my current one but am not opposed to other colors for a superior product.
So far I’ve seen good things about the esr and spigen one but looking for all suggestions !
Thank u! :)
I am a user of the V2 Apple MagSafe Leather Wallet on a 17 Pro.
Personally, I really don't like FineWoven so I don't want to get that.
My Criteria:
- Leather, Leather, Leather. I like a wallet that will patina/wear over time
- No thicker than the phone itself (~8mm thick). I use my phone without a case so I don't need to double the thickness
- I need 3 card capacity (2 credit cards and an ID), 4 would be great but not a deal breaker
- It needs to look good and not like I need to defuse a bomb to access my cards

Take it or Leave it:
- Find My Support
- Kickstand
- Grip/popsocket/loop
Any recommendations would be appreciated!
Maybe an oddball request, if so please forgive me.
I currently have a iPhone 12 Pro Max with the Peak Design Everyday Case and Slim Wallet. It has been a great combination for me. The wallet can store upwards of 6 or 7 cards and it has proven to be durable with even that many. I'm finally upgrading my phone and I'm looking to get something different, does anyone have any recommendations of other brands with a larger, sleek wallet like this?
If so, how did you do it and what Magsafe wallet do you use?
If not, what do you put in your Magsafe wallet and what do you put in your regular wallet?
I typically carry a ridge wallet knock-off from amazon. It's super easy to take cards out of. I purchased ESR magsafe wallet for my 17 pro max to downsize from the ridge wallet and only carry essential cards now that apple pay is basically accepted everywhere. My issue is that it's difficult to take the cards out of this wallet. I have to poke and pry all the cards out of the inner sleeve and taking money out of the outer most sleeve is a chore without ripping the actual notes. Do basically all magsafe wallets have this issue? Not to mention it's 10x harder to take stuff out of the wallet while its still attached to the phone case. I have to remove it from the phone case, then put my phone back in my pocket so i can handle this wallet with two hands, which is an extra step. Removing stuff from the wallet with the case still on is also prone to scratching the camera lenses right above it with cards/ finger nails.
How long did you use the magsafe wallet for?
Which magsafe wallet did you have?
Did your wallet have any other features that you used? (stand, pop-socket, etc)
What type of wallet do you have now and where do you keep it? (bi-fold/back-pocket, slim 5-card/front pocket, 12-card/purse, etc)
Ultimately, why'd you switch away from the magsafe wallet?
I was thinking Mouz case but I am not sure - I like sleek cases, I got deep blue so if its clear that would be cool. I want one that looks good but also is sturdy and will keep my phone safe.
Now I'm currently searching for the best MagSafe wallet to pair with my iPhone. I want something that’s slim, secure, and convenient enough to carry a few cards without feeling bulky or falling off easily. Bonus if it also looks good and is made from durable material.
I’ve come across a few options while browsing, but I’d love to hear about your personal experiences or suggestions. Some MagSafe wallets I’ve seen mentioned include:
Apple Leather Wallet with MagSafe
MOFT MagSafe Wallet Stand
Spigen Smart Fold Wallet
Bellroy Mod Wallet + Case
PopSockets PopWallet+ for MagSafe
Nomad Card Wallet with MagSafe
ESR HaloLock Vegan Leather Wallet
If you’ve found a wallet that actually stays put, holds enough, and feels worth the price, I’d really appreciate your thoughts. I’m trying to find the right mix of style, function, and reliability.

I mean as a millennial I basically never carry cash anymore. It happens. At this point I've got my ID and a couple of cards and that's it. Tell me here who uses a MagSafe wallet on the back of their phone and exclusively uses the MagSafe wallet… How do you find the experience? Do you ever get over the fear of losing all your shit or like is it always just in the back of your mind? I suppose if you have any recommendations I would like those as well because I'm brand new to this and I'd like it to be a good experience. Give me your protective, luxury, whatever options.
EDIT: Decided to try the Pelican Shield MagSafe RFID Blocking Wallet. Not that I need the RFID but can't hurt. I like the design, and I like the latch system, feels more secure to me.
EDIT 2: I am also going to try the bellroy 3 card case. It’s al all in one solution that looks super appealing.
Hi all, I’m getting an iPhone 17 (finally upgraded my iPhone 11) but I’m struggling to find what I want in terms of cases
I want a MagSafe phone case which has a matching MagSafe wallet. But I want patterns.
I’ve always liked phone cases with cute designs but im really struggling to find a company or brand who do a whole matching set. I don’t want a plain wallet which hides my cases designs (think it beats the point) so does anyone have any suggestions??
