Hello! I have a quick question for those of you with iPhone 6s who use the Otterbox Defender case.
The fingerprint sensor button has a thin film over it, and mine looks like there is either moisture under it or it could just be normal "cling" to be more sensitive with fingerprint reading. It works very well logging in with the fingerprint.

Does everyone's look like this, or is it just mine? I haven't taken the case off yet since it's only been a couple of weeks and I HATE getting pet hair/fuzz stuck underneath. Thanks!
That is normal. Now that being said I will say this. I pulled my finger scanner cover off and the scanner worked SO MUCH BETTER without it. But that's your call.
I removed that the first day I got the case, then I removed the entire screen protector because the screen wasn't as responsive. It was pretty easy with a blow dryer. I then put on a tempered glass screen protector.
Right now I'm using a defender series otter box on my 6s+ and it's super hard to use through the attached screen protector. I am prone to clumsiness so the guy at Best Buy recommended I go with the defender because it's bigger and supposed to offer more protection. But at this point I'm over having to type things three times before they're correct. Which do y'all think is a better case; the defender or the commuter?
Commuter. Use defender if you're dropping your phone every five minutes and work at a construction site.
Personally I like the Defender because the Commuter has a very slippery back. I hate the screen protector it comes with though. I took it off using a blow dryer. Just heat up the front a little then peel it off. There shouldn't be any glue residue.
or do I need to buy an entirely separate case? I have heard that if you go from 6 to 6s with a 6 case, the phone doesn't operate properly or it's too tight etc. Or, should I get a 6s case for the 6?

getting a 6 thursday, and then in december I am gifting that phone to my girlfriend so I can get the 6s with another upgrade on my account. She doesn't have a contract with at&t so her phone costs are like $750+ (workin on it lol)
