Will other iPhone cases fit the iPhone Air?
There's no previous generation of the iPhone Air, which means you won't be able to use any previous iPhone cases on the ultra-slim model. In general, while most newer iPhones have similar dimensions to their predecessors, there are usually design differences that require a different case, so you'll likely need to replace your case every time you get a new phone.
Does the iPhone Air need a case?
iPhones have become more durable over the years, but that doesn't mean they're immune to damage. We always suggest getting a protective case and screen protector, even for the best phones on the market.
It's also worth noting that in addition to protecting your phone, the added grip and texture that cases provide can help prevent the phone from easily slipping out of your hand or pocket, which may be particularly necessary for the Air, Apple's slimmest iPhone model.
What should I look for in an iPhone Air case?
The best case for you is likely to vary based on your budget, aesthetic preferences, and how you use your phone. If you use a wireless charger, phone mount, wallet, or anything else with a magnetic attachment, you'll want to look for a case with MagSafe technology. You can also find options with built-in kickstands if you tend to follow recipes on your phone or want to be able to take video calls hands-free. Some cases also feature built-in screen protectors or camera covers for an added layer of protection if you're prone to dropping or scratching your phone.
I'm thinking about getting a wireless charger that will work while my phone is in it's case. Is the OtterBox charger suitable? Or should I consider something else? Recommendations are welcomed
