So my sister had an old iphone 6s she wants to sell. She does not remember her password so we cant reset it from the settings. I tried connecting it to my pc using itunes but i cant reset it from there either cause i have to unlock it first in order to use the usb. Does anyone know what we do at that point?

You have to put the 6S in recovery mode by turning the phone off, holding the Home button, and plugging it into your PC. Don't let go until you see the recovery screen, and follow the steps in iTunes to restore it. Knowing her iCloud password is required to release the iCloud account from the phone in order to make it usable for the next person who buys it. Without that, the phone is only worth its weight in scrap.
