Hi everyone. I have a Samsung S21 FE 5G which I'm looking to replace with a new-ish iPhone. I'm making this transition because I really want a mobile device that works seamlessly with my other devices. (I've been a PC person for a long time, but am moving to Apple products).
I use Total Wireless as my service provider and am happy with it, but don't want to buy a device that I can only use with Total Wireless in case I want to change down the road.
What's the best way to get a good deal on a new-ish iPhone that I can use with Total Wireless? There are lots of promotions from various big name providers like Verizon to trade in devices, or to get a free iPhone with sign up, but I don't want to do that.
And what's the best way to sell and/or trade in my Samsung device? It works fine, although the screen has a couple of dings...
Edit: I've been scoping out Apple's refurbished page... and I have a $100 gift card to use, but they still seem pretty expensive. My home insurance has pretty decent coverage of mobile devices and computers so I'm not in dire need of Apple Care.

Purchase your phone directly from Apple, and take advantage of any trade and if they offer it for your Samsung device The only other option I can think of that would not be too big of a problem would be purchasing through Visible wireless. They use the same Netwerk that you’re using and as long as the phone is on the network for 60 days it’ll be unlocked automatically and you can buy the previous generation iPhone without a problem.
