The cracks on front and back is already a dealbreaker. The dead pixels make it worse. The phone is good that iOS 18 will still be supported on it, however it might be the last year. I would say worth at most 200USD. More on reddit.com

Horrible battery life but overall still a solid phone. If I were you I'd go for a refurbished 11 instead, should be around the same price and has upgraded cameras, really solid battery life and slightly bigger screen, however it's lcd instead of OLED.

June 2, 2018Is Xs Max still worth it this 2021 onwards?
256GB XS Max user here. I bought this last summer when it was on sale for 50% off. Still a great buy even today. The only real downside would be the lack of the U1 chip for the AirTags. Other than that, we are almost always around a power cable and charger so the less than ideal battery doesn’t bother me much. Go for it! It’s still mighty fast even after 2.5 years. You’ll easily get another 4-5 out of it if Apple’s track record means anything.
