IPic Houston Premium Seating?
So now that its been open a bit - any thoughts on iPic theater in River Oaks?
Has anyone seen a movie at the IPic Houston and sat in just the Premium Seats? How close is it to the Screen?
Right now that seems to be the only option if I want to see the Avengers Thursday night without having to wait 1-2 hours in line for an OK seat. I just want to know if you would feel too close sitting in the middle of row B.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Our 2 free tickets (thanks whoever posted that) were expiring, so we checked it out. We saw Spectre.
We went at 2pm on Tuesday, so the shopping center was a ghost town, but it looks to have a huge, free parking garage.
First 2 rows are $12, have little tables, but no waiter, gotta go to the bar. They are too close to the screen to enjoy.
We sat on the first row of the "VIP" seats, which are $18 normally, and it was still a little too close, though enjoyable. Would recommend 2nd row VIP.
Felt like there were no ads or turn off your phone crap, just a couple previews and the movie started - that was nice.
Seats are comfy, nice cup holder and come with a pillow and soft blanket - girlfriend was passed out within half an hour. Service was good, had some shiners ($5/ea) and some angus sliders ($14) and free popcorn! Sliders were good.
I don't see movies very often, so I think I would go back since it is a noticeably better experience despite the price. Without the vouchers it would have been $60 all total.
