February 8, 2024 - Hi Jamie! The beams are a natural stain. I actually sanded down the big round beams when we moved in and mixed a natural stain with some Sherwin Williams Ebony stain to try and bring the red/orange tones down. It worked! The type of wood you use is the biggest factor.

January 18, 2025 - HOWEVER!! if this if your taste, painting your house iron ore and leaving the white trim is definitely the way to go! Maybe painting your garage a similar color (see my first comment, haha, a blue or green garage would be awessomee, but the same color is fine too). I'd get some purely decorative brown around your front door to really complete the look. ...
