Next time I am up against the deadline, I'll be marching down to the post office and send it certified mail to avoid this uncertainty. Let's put this in perspective: The cost of a one-ounce certified letter (without return receipt) is $5.58. ($4.85 Certified Mail fee plus $0.73 postage.)
