Did not received 2022 stimulus check, what should I do?
March 20, 2023 - Federal stimulus checks were issued for tax years 2020 and 2021----not for tax year 2022. There is no place on a 2022 tax return to enter anything about stimulus checks. If you did not receive the first or second stimulus check for 2020 ($1200 and $600) , you have to use the recovery rebate ...

Did not need to file taxes for 2020-2021-2022 because of no income. While doing my 2023 taxes can I still get these Stimulus Checks?
I think you can still get the stimulus payments, but you must claim them as credits on your 2020 and 2021 federal income tax returns, even if you otherwise were not required to file returns for those years. You need to move fast, though. The deadline for filing a late 2020 tax return to claim a credit is 4/15/2024. (Ignore anyone who says you have until May 17, 2024.) You must file a paper return. Use FreeTaxUSA. Be sure to sign in blue ink. File your 2020 return soon. The IRS has a habit of letting paper returns sit for months and then denying claims for refunds as untimely based on the processing date rather than the postmark date. Then you'll spend months convincing the IRS that you mailed it before the deadline. Mail it to the filing address for your state from the post office via certified mail. Be sure to get the green and white certified mail receipt postmarked at the post office. That's your proof of timely filing if the IRS denies your refund claim as untimely. Better yet, make an appointment at an IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center to drop it off. They will check that you signed it and that it looks complete. If they find a mistake, they'll help you fix it. Bring an extra copy of the return, and they will stamp it "Received" with the date as proof of timely filing. P.S. Once 2020 is filed, get to work on 2021. Don't sit on it for a year and then miss the 4/15/2025 deadline. More on reddit.com

March 16, 2021 - For example, if you owed $1,000 in taxes but had a refundable tax credit of $1,200, you'd get a $200 tax refund check from Uncle Sam. Because you're getting what amounts to a refundable tax credit now in the form of a third stimulus payment, rather than waiting to get the money from the credit in 2022 when you actually file your 2021 tax return, you're in effect getting an advanced refundable tax credit.
