Seriously think the 13PM was the best phone Apple ever made. Think of what you got at the time: 120hz, all day+ battery life, macro mode camera, durable battery I keep seeing these sorts of posts and it’s always with a 13PM. Answer from tonynca on reddit.com

iPhone 13 Pro Battery Health - Apple Community
The battery on your phone is performing normally. On average, the Maximum Capacity will drop about 1% a month,, so if you purchased your iPhone 10 months ago, you could expect the Max Cap to be about 90% at time.

My iPhone 13 Pro battery health is at 90% after having it for almost a year around 11 and a 1/2 months, is that normal? - Quora
Answer (1 of 3): There’s no such thing as normal. All batteries have finite lifespans and must eventually be replaced. The minute they leave the factory, they all start degrading. As time goes on, batteries gradually lose their capacity to store energy, and also their ability to provide ...

Very good. Your battery is doing better than average. At a year, the battery will normally be at about 88-90%, since it is normal for the battery to decline about 1% a month on average. ... My iPhone 13 pro max after 13 months of usage drop battery health to 98% and just checked it last night.

Hi,

I am upgrading from my iphone 12(256GB) serving me since last 3 years. It's battery is less than 80%. I have to charge the phone atleast 2-3 a day. I am heavy on calls & browser activity.Saw this refurbished iphone 13 pro(256 GB) with 87% battery life from a reputed seller at around 600£.

Any thoughts is it worth upgrading.

Edit: Decided to keep the phone and replace the battery.

Hi, I bought my iPhone 13 pro max ... 95% . I don’t understand why? What did I do wrong? Before this I’m only using iPhone 6 and the battery health was only dropped to 90% after like 5 years of using it....

r/applehelp on Reddit: iPhone 13 Pro Max battery health stays on 80% for 6-9 months with wireless charging
September 17, 2024 -

I've had my 13 Pro Max two years and mostly I love it! Maybe because I do wireless charging the battery health has slowly gone down to 80% then stopped changing about 6-9 months ago. I have Apple Care Plus and I know Apple's policy is to only replace batteries when battery health is 79% and lower. I kind of wonder if Apple is doing something funny, making battery health STATUS INDICATOR stop at 80% to avoid changing batteries under warranty. Sounds crazy, but what do you think?

I would like to keep my 13 PM for another two years, as the 16 seems disappointing. But I'm debating if I should cancel the expensive Apple Care insurance.

iPhone 13 Pro/Max users: How's your battery health? | MacRumors Forums
September 1, 2023 - Yeah it’s a solid phone and I bought it just as the 14 Pro came out. I’ll see how it is this time next year and decide if it’s then worth upgrading to the 15 Pro. As of now the battery is good, and the phone still feels snappy and brand new.

I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro max since they came out approx 3 years ago(?) and I’m thinking of upgrading my phone, but it does work well so I’m debating keeping it for longer. The battery health is at 88%, that’s the original factory fitted battery. Is this good? What can I realistically expect out of it over another year or 2? Any advice welcome thanks

r/iPhone13Pro on Reddit: Is it worth getting my battery replaced on my iPhone 13 Pro with 90% battery health?
April 1, 2025 -

Title

I have had my iPhone 13 Pro since December 2021. The phone is great and besides the battery I have had no issues with it. I was tempted to upgrade to the iPhone 17 Pro in the fall, but I absolutely hate the new design.

I know people say to wait until below 80% battery, but would it be worth it to do it now at 90%? I feel like I have to charge my phone twice a day (it doesn’t die but it will get to around 40-50% around 3ish pm and I’ll charge it again when I’m going out). For like $90 a new battery that will prolong the life of my great phone sounds like a solid deal.

TIA!

iPhone 13 Pro Max battery health 98% - Apple Community
I was very happy with the battery life until the battery was replaced. Battery health remains at 100% until June 2023, then drops to 99%, and suddenly drops to 96% in July 2023, then drops 1% every week. Apple told me they expect battery health to drop 0.5% - 1% per month.

r/iPhone13ProMax on Reddit: Got a used iPhone 13 PM with 86% battery health, should I pay for a new battery on Apple? Will I notice a difference?
December 19, 2023 -

I bought the phone used on eBay, I was wondering, is worth it to change the battery on Apple for a new one? The battery holds as a lock, I disconnect the phone at 8 am, I charge it again at 2:00 PM to 3:00PM and holds all day long almost to bed time (heavy use, even using 5G), but my friend told me that this phone’s battery is pretty good when is new. Do you guys think that I will notice a difference if I pay for a full new battery or should I stay with this battery and do not get a new one?

Edit 1: Hey, thanks for all your responses!!, I’m going to change the battery this week, for all the people that are saying that Apple only replace the battery if it is 80% or lower that’s not true, the battery replacement is $89 plus taxes, I’ll keep you guys updated when I get my new battery and of course in the next couple of weeks I’ll edit again to let know if was worth it the change.
