Honestly couldn’t have been easier. Had to pay full price for phone up front and you get trade in value credited to you upon pick up and trade in. They were offering the same trade in value as Samsung. When I got to store I deleted my accounts off the phone. Guy literally took my phone swiped the Home Screen to the next panel and back to Home Screen then handed it back to me to reset. I don’t think he even looked at the phone again after that besides copying the imei off the back. No checking for any damage at all. No diagnostics at all. He probably spent a total of 3 seconds looking at the phone the entire time it was in his possession. Signed a paper agreeing to the trade in amount and then the next morning I had $943(trade in amount and the tax taken off original purpose) in my account. I also was given a $200 Best Buy gift card. That sure beats sending my phone off in the mail hoping some POS at fed ex doesn’t steal my phone or the people at the third party you send the phone to lying about some imaginary damage to screw me out of money. Definitely going to be my preferred method of trade in from now on.
