I am looking at getting a very nice kitchen faucet for Christmas. I ruled out Moen since their faucets were limited to 1.5GPM flow whereas Brizo and Axor have about 1.8 GPM. Really what I want is a quality, durable, as little plastic as possible (I know some is unavoidable like in the lines) faucet. No interest in the electronic options at all.
Which do you recommend? Warranty language on both are the same. The Hansgrohe Axor’s “laminar flow” seems fancy, but I’m worried that will just result in less fluid velocity (since GPM is the same) and will ultimately feel like it has low pressure.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. I’m a buy once / cry once person.

I know this has been asked before but asking again since hopefully technology gets better with time. It sounds like the lower end touchless faucets are the problematic ones (more plastic parts, turns on randomly more, can't use without power/batteries). What if I go higher end like the Brizo Odin SmartTouch Faucet? Or should I just give up and get a non touchless?
Have folks heard about this brand? We’re doing a major remodel of a kitchen and a couple of bathrooms and our GC sent us over to their vendor who they have worked with for 25 years. We saw what we loved in the showroom and they kind of steered us towards California faucets and mentioned others are like 2-3 time more.
We picked what we liked withi it seeing the pricing thinking it wasn’t crazy. When we got home and did some research, these are like $1500 for a stainless steel Blanco farmhouse sink and like $1300-$1800 for faucets.
We haven’t bought anything but just shocked. Is going into a showroom a bad idea?
The 2 year old Brizo kitchen faucet put in by the previous owner does not work. The house main water pressure was off the charts and a plumber said the excessive pressure broke the cartridge, and it would be better to just get a new faucet.
I'm a beginner DIY, I've replaced and installed kitchen faucets in the past. Should I try to get the Brizo cartridge and replace it, or just buy a whole new faucet? And if new, does anyone know if other brand names are the same color and finish? (Like is brizo owned by another company that sells other brands but are the same materials and colors)
I'd potentially have to also replace the soap dispenser (easy) and the garbage disposal button (I'd have to look up how to do this)
Hello all! Our kitchen faucet needs replacing, and we’re looking for a good quality faucet that has good components that will last and can be repaired by us. Looking at Brizo Tulham pull down faucet, which is selling now for around $470. Does anyone have suggestions of a comparable quality faucet that’s a little less money? Thanks for your consideration!
I'm shopping for a new kitchen faucet for my remodel. I've read all the threads saying that the faucets from the big box stores are cheaper SKUs each faucet design-- and that it's better to shop at a local plumbing supply store.
I guess I can believe that, since it's also true that stores like Best Buy, Walmart, etc. sell cheaper SKUs of TVs for example on Black Friday.
So, I go online to one of the local plumbing supply websites and look around and I find this Delta faucet:
$728.28 - Delta Faucet Trinsic® Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet with Single Lever Handle and Spring Spout in Arctic Stainless
I do some decoding of the model number they list and I find it on Amazon (Shipped and sold by Amazon) for less than half the price:
Edit: I linked the wrong model:
$300.90 - Delta Faucet Trinsic Pro Single-Handle Spring Spout Kitchen Sink Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer and Magnetic Docking Spray Head, Arctic Stainless 9659-AR-DSTDelta Faucet Trinsic Pro Single-Handle Spring Spout Kitchen Sink Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer and Magnetic Docking Spray Head, Arctic Stainless 9659-AR-DST
$397.19 - Delta Faucet Trinsic Pro Single-Handle Spring Spout Touch Kitchen Sink Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer, Touch2O Technology and Magnetic Docking Spray Head, Arctic Stainless 9659T-AR-DST
What's the deal here? Are they the same model and internals? Is the local plumbing supply adding a crazy high markup? Are most of their sales to chumps who don't price-shop, or are most of their sales to contractors at some steep discount?
Lastly, this isn't necessarily the faucet I plan to go with. I'm open to suggestions or advice on a good kitchen faucet. I prefer a more modern look, single arm style like this. My brother recommends I consider getting a wall mounted faucet since it will be easier to keep the counter around the sink clean. However, all of the wall-mount faucets I've found look very Victorian or ornate to me.
I'm looking to buy my last kitchen faucet, if possible.
A few things I'm looking for:
-Separate hot & cold controls
-Separate sprayer
-Normal flow. Not the high pressure tiny streams - not sure what this is called. I want just a normal aerated flow from the faucet and pressurized steam from the sprayer.
High arch style neck.
-Solid stainless or stainless finished solid brass.
-Simple, classic design, ideally with porcelain handles on the temp controls
Ideally no cartridge - I want to be able to repair these, not replace cartridges. The simpler the better. I'd rather change o-rings and valve seats than entire cartridges.
The absolute top priority is that it's going to stay nice over the years with normal maintenance.
Budget: up to ~$1,500
We have been looking for a faucet for our bathroom sink and noticed a massive price descrepency in faucets! for example, a delta single hole bathroom sink faucet is almost $200 vs a similar no-name brand one at $80. Is it worth it to pay extra for name brand? There can't be that much of a difference in quality, could there? Any concerns with buying off brand? (ones that come to mind are maybe cheaper o-rings, lower quality metal, should I be concerned about lead in cheaper brands?)

First time going through renovation. What shower systems do you recommend?
Local stores are passing brands I’ve never heard of handsgrove, Isenberg, etc. Are advising against Delta.
Thanks in advance!
