He must know that I specifically adore him and his portrayal of Darcy. He must hear it from me and be entirely put off by my flailing. That last picture makes my insides quiver, knowing they were probably sleeping with each other at that point and she had to deliver these love lines to him. Call me crazy. I wish they had worked out. I hate his wife cheated on him. Every single account I’ve ever heard of him is he’s a top notch guy with a sweet soul. :( I want more behind the scenes footage with it being the 30th year. I can’t abide we don’t have full on blooper reels or a very detailed scene by scene documentary with scenes that were cut. I want rehearsal scenes from the Netherfield Ball, candids, costume fittings. I want it all.

based on your level of adoration, i will assume you have, but just in case -- have you seen the book "the making of pride and prejudice" by sue birtwistle and susie conklin, published in '95? it has a lot of behind the scenes photographs and interviews with the various production departments. there is also ones with both jennifer ehle and colin firth.
