Terrible experience with this company. They charged me monthly for a "VIP service" I never signed up for -- and when I asked them to produce proof that I did register for said service - they couldn't. Yeah I heard nice things about the quality and materials, but the customer service reviews were egregious and frequent enough that I got spooked off ordering from them. Nuppers. It's the retail shell game again. Saying European down is the same as saying none of your damn beeswax — we aren't telling. And they also aren't telling you the down to feathers ratio, which probably means 75/25. The size is a few inches small (queen- 88") The warmth levels are off; I happen to know that 42oz of 700 fill power in a queen is a three season (all except summer, TOG 9), and they're saying 24oz in their Level 1 gives you that. I think you'd shiver your ass of in a 60º room. So basically they're selling you half the down, and half the quality, at twice the price. To say it's overpriced is an understatement. To match up fill power and amount it's 2X with the poor quality down and probably the casing still not accounted for. Sorry, I know that's not what you were hoping to hear. Edit: Brooklinen comments. Notice that Brooklinen is careful to not place the word "goose" in front of down. I wonder why? They also don't know what the term "fill power" means. They use it to describe warmth levels in their three options, but it's actually a term that quantifies loft or volume of a specific amount of down by weight. So the combination of fill power and amount give a certain warmth (TOG) No indication of any other specs, so assume 75/25 ratio of duck down. Hutterite is a religious group that collects/sell down, but that doesn't tell you anything about what you're buying. **BUT** I'd come a whole lot closer to paying $284 for a duck down comforter than I would $900 for Cuddledown mystery fill. But, if you're okay with cheap mystery fill, why not just go to Target and get yourself a nice Chinese duck down comforter for $50 or less. More on reddit.com

I tested it and you are correct, the discount doesn’t add up to 30%, but I think I have figured out why. The 30% promo says:”We’re sorry, but Gifts of Warmth Sale items are excluded from further discounting during this promotion.” That blanket is on the “Gifts of Warmth” sale. That is actually very Macy’s like, LOL! It is misleading that when you view it in cart, it says 30% off promo applied, but nothing about the Gifts of Warmth. It’s probably a limitation of their website, which I have always found glitchy. It’s good to know you liked that blanket, I have been eyeing it but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I have ordered quite a few things now from Cuddledown and have been happy with almost everything. But the website and the process has been far from great. More on reddit.com
