Is dropshipping actually worth it?
winnerzilla website, is it worth it?
Actually, it’s not just "telling which products to sell". As far as I can see, they offer ad examples, targeting, video, product description… Also, products are very diverse, so it doesn’t matter if you have general or niche store. It surely isn't a one-size-fits-all service, but it definitely makes it easier for beginners to make their first sales.
More on reddit.comWhat is Oberlo and is it worth it?
the problem with oberlo, and most dropship accounts (esp shopify apps) is that the market is saturated with the product with sellers "racing to the bottom" in terms of margins. for you to succeed with this type of account, esp if you are just starting is that you cannot rely (just like with most dropship apps) on just pushing these items to 3ps, where you can sell before you invest in anything but your time. you have to use social media (cause your seo is probably not where it needs to be for google) for customer acquisition, and hopefully conversions, and that avenue requires upfront advertising cost that you cannot be sure will be a positive roi, cause again, saturated market. the trick is finding dropship accounts that have products that most dropship accounts do not have do not have a large number of customers. unique products from a unique company. otherwise welcome to the "race to the bottom".

Dropshipping can be a viable business model, but it’s not a guaranteed success. Dropshipping is a good fit for online entrepreneurs with prior experience in online sales and marketing who are ready to invest time and money in niche research and a solid business plan.
Is dropshipping legit?
Yes, dropshipping is a legitimate business model. As with any business, you must do your research, work with reputable suppliers, and follow all legal requirements.
For example, charging the correct taxes and accurately representing the products you’re selling. It’s also important to be transparent with customers about your products’ shipping times and origins.
Is dropshipping a profitable business model?
Making dropshipping profitable for your ecommerce store will depend on various factors such as your niche, the competitive landscape, and how well your sales funnel is set up. On average, dropshipping businesses make around 20%–30% on each sale. If you sell 500 items and profit $10 from each, you’ll make $5000 a month. Your biggest challenge is understanding your market and finding the right marketing strategy to attract those 500 customers.
