Has anyone here published your website using Framer?
I'm thinking about building website and publishing it using Framer. However, I'm concerned about technical issues (coding, SEO) that may arise.
If you have, what technical issues did you run into and how do you fix that?
Comparing to publishing and maintaining website using WordPress, what are the pros and cons?

I tried Framer for a portfolio site. Loved the look but had issues with page speed and setting up SEO tags correctly. WordPress gives you more control but you’ll need plugins (and maintenance). If you don’t want the hassle, Durable is actually pretty solid. It’s more than just a site builder, comes with CRM + blog tools and I had my site live in like 30 seconds.

I built my second website with Framer as a newbie and so far it's been great. The advantage of Framer is that it's easier to make good looking websites compared to WordPress imo. Can't say anything about coding.

Framer is not for beginners
I’ve created my portfolio website without any development knowledge in two days since i’ve discovered Framer. The thing is, if you’re comfortable designing in Figma, XD or any other tool Framer feels like home. You’re wrong saying that UX is horrible since there is no other tool to compare with. Nice insights! Tbh, most of your negative points seem to be bugs (that i personally never encountered) or just getting used to the interface. I came to Framer from css/tailwind and struggled to figure things out or to achieve more advanced designs that I know how to easily implement with code. It changed it for me when i stopped comparing it with css and started embracing it like a different design tool (much more in line with figma). Learning how to really take advantage of their components, variations and variables really helped too. More on reddit.com

After the recent pricing drama I would avoid framer at all costs. This company has lost a lot of its user’s trust. The tool is great to use (for the most part) but it simply is not worth the problems. More on reddit.com

Framer is a great tool if you are already a web developer but if you listen to their lying advertisement, anyone can create a website with the help of AI. What they don't say though is that from there, modifying or editing any content becomes a dreadful adventure without any clear and concise explanation anywhere to be found. There is a library of videos but they are too quick and really destined to people who already have knowledge of web creation. The UX is horrible but the product works well. It takes most of 3 months to achieve a simple website, not minutes like they say.

I’m very frustrated with Framer. Why is it so complicated and has such bad UX? What software could I use as an alternative? I’m using now the Siter website builder.
