I found that their job board had many jobs that weren’t available on other job websites that I searched through so I’m sure that the Google job board will be similar. Hello I'm close to finishing the google cybersecurity certificate and on the website I was told they give exclusive access to job searching website that they also have companies that are committed to hiring people with the certificate. I'm looking to see if anyone has seen this and how good is it.

Anyone who's reading this thread asking questions, this cert is essentially the equivalent of the Security+ (without the actual cert. I'd recommend getting the actual cert after since you likely know the material anyways). Take that as you will for how valuable Sec+ is for a career, there is PLENTY of that information here and the rest of online.

Due to Google’s heavy branding, and the emphasis on “Cybersecurity Professional” instead of a specific topic, the final certificate actually looks and sounds quite impressive. I’ve interviewed plenty of software engineers, and to me it would look good on a CV / resume, although this of course might vary by industry.

Respectfully, this should probably have been directed at the pinned Mentorship Monday thread (vs. the main r/cybersecurity dashboard). However, in the spirit of being helpful: For those who have completed the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, how long do you have access to complete it? I know the estimated timeline is 6mo, but does it expire if you don't complete it on time? That's not how Coursera works. You pay for as long as it takes you to achieve your certificate-of-completion per month. Coursera is plenty fine with letting you take as long as you want to finish their learning plans. How likely would it be for someone to get a cybersecurity job after this course?
I am planning on taking a few separate courses (not on google, but also on google for supplementation) so I can pursue certification, but it'd be a lot easier if I could change careers sooner rather than later?

If you have no technical IT experience whatsoever it's probably a good warm-up for Security+. Other than that it isn't going to get anyone to hire you just on the basis of completing the cert no matter what Google's warm and friendly commercials might say.
