I haven't shopped there, so consider me uninformed. I look at their "Wow Deals" and often the prices are those I can find elsewhere. For example, a current one is 2 8-oz bag of chips for $5. That kind of promotion is a regular at Albertson's and Kroger stores.
Maybe the prices are better on things not features in Wow Deals? Help me out. If you're saving money at G.O. what kind of things should I stop buying at Albertson's and Krogers and instead buy at G.O.?

I have regularly shopped at GOBM for years. It was a joy to shop there you could always find super reasonable prices a nice selection of vegan and vegetarian food. Over the past year or so I’ve noticed that the majority is as much as Kroger or more and Trader Joe’s is less for several things. I went shopping three weeks ago I usually have some staples that I always buy. When I went in yesterday I was shocked at how much the prices have been jacked up.Bars I bought for 399 three weeks ago was 599; frozen food that was 199 was now 499. Pizza I had bought that was 299 was for 599. Oyster crackers .99 were 1.99. All the same brands And the list goes on. They have plants there that were ridiculously overpriced 4 inch pots which used to be $.99 everywhere else which are now 149 are priced to 299 to 799!! I found the only bargain I can find at bargain market are the things that are about to expire that they have to clear out. It is so disappointing and ugly that they are jumping on the jack up the food prices train. Other things they had like solar lights the dollar tree sells for 125 are 599. Shopping in the store last night made me physically ill. I decided to check out a different grocery outlet bargain market to see if it was just that franchise owned store or if it was across the board. Sadly it was the same. Cans of soup for 499 that aren’t even high-quality. It is like they are taking a page out of the Walmart rule book make a couple things cheaper and jack everything up high. Are used to really enjoy going to the store now it’s just another high price grocery store. Oh yeah by the way they jack up the price you would be paying so it looks like you’re saving when in truth you really aren’t. This type of price gouging really hurts families and people trying to make ends meet. The whole purpose of having a store like that is to able to save and get more bang for your buck. If I had bought exactly the same items my total before tax would have been 23.00 MORE for the exact same things I purchased 3 weeks ago. I am so sad and disappointed in this company.
Is stuff close to expiration or something?
