I recently replied to another thread about my experience, but I’ll copy it here in case anyone finds it helpful! About 3 months ago I purchased the medium plush version of the Logan&Cove as I read a lot of reviews saying that it was already decently firm. I’m not sure if I’m just used to sleeping on old traditional mattresses with no pillow top, but the medium plush was way too soft for me. FYI I am primarily a back sleeper and once in a while will sleep on my side. I am 170cm/ 5’7” and roughly 150lbs. The medium plush starts out okay, but after a few minutes of being in bed, I find it that I would sink deeper than I prefer. The deal breaker for me was that my torso would sink significant deeper than my arms, thus rotating my shoulders forward. During some nights, I would wake up and my arms would be numb due to the awkward position I’m in. This doesn’t happen all the time, but it has definitely happened multiple times during the 3 months I’ve had the mattress. To give some credit to the medium plush, it is amazing for side sleeping. On my old mattress, my hips and shoulders would hurt when I slept on my side due to the firmness on those contact points, but this was not an issue with the medium plush. However, the amount of time I spend sleeping on my side is quite little compared to sleeping on my back so I could not benefit from this much. I will be using the 120 sleep guarantee to return the medium plush and purchase a luxury firm. I’ll give an update after I try that for a few weeks. Hope this is helpful to anyone trying to decide on which Logan&Cove that they want! Answer from Dry_Butterscotch4595 on reddit.com

What's the difference between Plush Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm? – Customer Help Center
Saatva Classic comes in three comfort levels: Plush Soft, Luxury Firm, and Firm. All are designed with the same quality materials and engineered with our Lumbar Zone® Technology for great back support, but each one feels very different. Plush Soft: With softer foams and extra pillow top cushioning, the Plush Soft has a deep, body-hugging feel. It's great for side sleepers, lighter weight people, and anyone who prefers a softer mattress. On a scale of 1-10 (with 10 being the firmest), Plush Soft is a 3.

Luxury Medium Firm Mattress vs Medium Firm: How to Choose?
December 20, 2024 - Luxury Medium Firm Mattress: If you’re looking for a mattress that offers the best of both worlds—luxurious comfort, superior durability, and advanced features—a luxury medium firm mattress is the ideal choice.
People also ask

Do they have mattresses with adjustable firmness?
Yes! With recent developments in mattress technology, there’s been an explosion of new adjustable mattresses, including beds with adjustable chambers and others with customizable layers. These mattresses usually have a high range of firmness levels. Adjustable air mattresses work by using internal air chambers and a hose attachment to remove or add air to the support layer based on your preferences. Mattresses with customizable firmness allow you to add and remove layers to change up the bed’s feel. You can also adjust any mattress firmness with a mattress topper.

What’s a reasonable price for a mattress?
Prices can vary, but a good mattress isn’t cheap. You don’t want to get ripped off, but you also don’t want to skimp on something you’re going to use every day for ten years. Around $1,000 to $2,000 is what you should expect to pay for a high-quality queen mattress.

Firm vs. Medium Mattress: All the Pros and Cons - Sleep Junkie
How do they make a mattress softer or firmer?
Modifying the top or “comfort” layer of the mattress is just one way manufacturers adjust mattress firmness. Comfort layers are made softer in a number of ways: adding pillow tops, stuffing them with materials like cotton or wool, or using a sheet of foam or latex. Subtracting these cushioning materials or using thinner layers will make the mattress firmer. In addition, mattress manufacturers add and subtract layers and modify the ILD of the base foam to give their beds unique feels.

Mattress Firmness Guide - Which Firmness Is Right For Me?
October 27, 2025 - A bed that hovers around the industry standard medium-firmness rating of 6.5 out of 10 can often provide universal comfort for most sleepers. Be careful with soft mattresses. Oftentimes, sleepers see the word “soft” and naturally gravitate towards it. This makes sense — softness seems to indicate coziness or luxurious plushness.

r/Mattress on Reddit: Logan & Cove - Medium Plush or Luxury Firm?
January 2, 2022 -

Hey all, so I’ve been doing research for a long while and I think I’ve finally decided on a L&C mattress. It’s either the medium plush or luxury firm if so. After reading review after review, reddit thread after thread it seems both are quite firm and great in their own right which is the cause of this post.

I honestly really feel like I’m in the middle here between plush and firm. I know they have the great 120 night sleep trial incase I pick the wrong one which is great, but I’d rather make the best and most informed choice possible first.

L&C Mattress

About me: -5’8, 170lbs, average build, 23y/o, sleeps alone, queen size -$1200 budget -Mattress will be on an IKEA bed “Malm” with Ikea slats “Luroy” -Coming from a hybrid and now a foam (both sealy), both on their last legs and old. -I prefer bounce, but not a requirement -I’m a combo sleeper, probably 60% back/stomach, 40% side -Currently having lower back soreness when I wake up, sometimes even upper back/shoulder included -Pillow between the legs when side sleeping helps the knees right now -I work a very labour intensive job -I sleep warm

Medium Plush: -Medium Plush on the website is a 5.5 on the firmness scale, apparently best suited for combination sleepers and especially side sleepers, and good for lighter body types -“soothing balance of cushioning and support”

Luxury Firm: -7.5 on the firmness scale, good for stomach and back sleepers, good for heavier body times -“solid base of support across the entire mattress, with a subtle amount of pillow-top cushioning to ease pressure points.”

Looking for any recommendations, help, and opinions. Especially from anyone with either of these. I’m also open to any other mattress on the Canadian market.

Thanks for reading, and have a great new year!

Just got ours last month. I like the firm and have always had firm beds BUT kinda wish I’d got the plush. I’m a stomach sleeper, husband is a back sleeper.

Side sleeper currently considering a Winkbed. Wondering if anyone has any IRL experiences with the Luxury Firm vs Firm. Generally prefer something a little on the firmer side, but trying not to sleep on a rock.
