is “mustn’t” still in use? or is it already outdated? and can I do a question like “must I do something?”

I’d say it’s way less common than it used to be, but you still hear it sometimes. Not using the contraction or just replacing it with “can’t” or “shouldn’t” will sound more modern even if it means the meaning of “mustn’t” is more implied than said.

In the US I only hear “must” or “must not” (never mustn’t) in the imperative sense very rarely (i.e. “You must do your homework”). It is more commonly used to suppose something (“It must be raining,” “He must be running late,” “They must not have finished their homework”). “Mustn’t” is almost unheard of; it sounds like an old Disney movie to me.
