Now rewatching fallen kingdom I figured out that yes in fact the indoraptor we see was a prototype it was the indominus Rex rebuilt with less bones and a different body structure trained to kill anything that had a red laser dot on it (Not my art)

Honestly all they needed was blues DNA that was it so I don't think the indoraptor was going to look that much different and it was mostly considered an incomplete prototype because it lack empathy even though he was a completely abused animal

What would the Indoraptor look like in real life? - Quora
Answer (1 of 2): All I can say for certain with indo-raptor (I use this spelling because “Indoraptor” means “thief or plunderer from India” which the animal decidedly is not) is that it’s too thin. That’s par for the course with the Jurassic series; it was pretty common in the 1990s to “shrink wr...

June 16, 2023 - Utahraptor and Dakotaraptor resemble it very very distantly due to the fact that they are all raptors, while no known dinosaur resembles Indoraptor, which is deliberately created to be monstrous, weird and more humanoid to be scarier for horror genre. Indoraptor's creator, J.A.

No. There’s some early croc line archosaurs that got similar in terms of lankiness and quadrupedality, but they were pretty small

Not really. Even theropods with relatively long forelimbs (megaraptorans, maniraporans, therizinisaurs, etc) or short hind limbs (spinosaurs) didn't go quadrupedal, optional or otherwise. On the contrary, many lineages went the opposite route of almost losing them completely (tyrannosaurs, abelisaurs). Most of the "normal" theropods in the franchise are already a compromise between movie monster and realistic (albeit outdated) depiction. That's explained away in-lore by the fact they're hybrids. Indominus, indoraptor and skorpios on the other hand don't have a drop of realism to them, they're full blown movie monsters.

Finding ‘Indo’ – how ILM made Fallen Kingdom’s Indoraptor a different dinosaur
July 13, 2018 - Alex Wuttke: Sometimes we’re using the performance that was found on the day as the basis and then really matching our animation to that. Then, just adding subtleties like tendons and muscle firing, which Neal’s team didn’t have the time to engineer into their animatronics. David Vickery: When the Indoraptor is attacking Wheatley in the cell, just before he escapes, we have replaced the Indoraptor in all but one of the shots in the movie.

Jurassic World 2 Theory: The Indoraptor's Other Dominant DNA Will Make You Sick
June 28, 2018 - The specifics of the Indoraptor's hybrid DNA weren't specified in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, but there's a lot of evidence it was part human. Several hints about its genetic makeup are present throughout the movie, and aside from its obvious Velociraptor DNA, its other dominant gene proves that the Jurassic franchise isn't afraid of outdoing itself in the realm of experimental engineering.
