It actually gets even better because the Walmart+ app gets you gas at Sam’s Club without a membership. I have found the prices are similar to Costco and much cheaper than regular gas stations.

I have tried probably 20-30 times to get the damn discount at Exxon stations and I have been successful a total of 1 time.

I have bought things from Walmart online on occasion, and was thinking about signing up for Walmart+ to get free shipping. My question to those of you who use Walmart+, are most items, like clothing, shipped free?
I know that you can get groceries delivered with it, but I am not really interested in that as I like to do my own grocery shopping most of the time.
So, would it be worth it to get Walmart+ if I am mainly using it like an Amazon type delivery service, for clothing and other items?
**UPDATED POST** Thank you all for your opinions. I will probably just wait until a promo price comes around, or if anything I will wait until I buy over $35 worth of items. You all have been been very helpful. I appreciate it!

I just order $35 worth of items when I need an online order. Then it's free shipping regardless (at least it's been that way for anything I've been). No Walmart+ subscription. If I need filler items I just get something I would normally buy like wash machine cleaning tabs etc.

I get Walmart+ free with a credit card (amex platinum) and I use it often. I have tried to transition away from Amazon. I have found that Walmart+ often has cheaper prices than Amazon. Word of warning, be sure you click on "delivery" in the app before shopping. Some items (and their great prices) are only available from the store. Clicking delivery will help filter this out. Also sometimes only certain quantities are available for delivery. So if you click on an item with the delivery filter and then change the quantity*, it may suddenly become store only. So yes, it's not entirely uncomplicated but once you learn the basics it's not so bad
