I know it might be a controversal question but let me explain:
I like having custom websites. I don't like hardcoding them and having to manually configure the CMS with something headless.
I like CMS platforms, though they're a bit hard to get customized a lot of the time.
Webflow seems nice. I'm considering learning it. I've seen som really fancy custom sites built with it. I hear that it can make your production process more efficient (though I'm not fully sure how).
At the same time, influencers who promote it tend to be sponsored by the software...
Does webflow actually help build clean / custom sites that have CMS functionality built in? Is it worth learning?

Alright here me up.
WordPress and webflow head to head. Let's say you know how to develop websites on both platforms. And we consider developing a normal, not so fancy website (just like most clients would want to).
From a developer's perspective, webflow offers a superior user experience, much more granular controls, and exports cleaner code than WordPress. I can see why I would pay 16$ for that.
But from the client's perspective, aren't they getting basically the same website with a marginal increase in performance, but thrice or quadruple the price than a WordPress website?
As a newbie into web dev, I can't help but think, are we as developers pitching the clients to switch to webflow because it's a great deal for us, but not so much for the clients?
Any opinions are welcome. I stand guided.
Thanks
