Why hasn't Israel attacked Iran again yet?
Iran is in really rough shape, especially with the water crisis currently happening in Tehran because of the incompetence of the government. If you’re Israel, there’s not much reason to give Iranian leadership a free bail out and external distraction right now. If I had to guess, Iran won’t be attacked anytime soon unless there’s a drastic action taken. But if the Iranian government has to spend time and money worried about “imminent” Israeli attacks, that’s a good result for Israel too. More on reddit.com
Opinion | Why Israel Won the War
They won because they have more weapons, more intelligence, better trained soldiers, had a limited area of engagement This isn't the US fighting a whole country in the other side of the world being supplied by it's enemies. This is a country sitting right next to the zone of engagement, fighting in a limited geographic area, and fully controlling the external borders of the place they are attacking. The fact is, to fight you need weapons on an industrial scale, and Hamas simply does not have enough. The Israelis were basically shooting fish in a barrel More on reddit.com

Why did Israel accept the ceasefire?
Probably one of: Because it was a condition of Trump's willing to use the B2s to bomb Fordo. Because Trump strong armed us into it with some blackmail. Israel & US knows something we don't. (e.g. Iranians said they'll chill out on the nuclear stuff if we just leave them alone and they'll tell people and the old grandpa in the bunker that things are proceeding as normal.) US may have sweetened the deal with allowing them to sell oil to china (see trump's tweet.) We have a plan B. More on reddit.com

Netanyahu plans to brief Trump on possible new Iran strikes
3 weeks ago - One involved Israel going it alone, another included limited U.S. support, a third was the U.S. and Israel conducting joint operations against Iran, and a fourth had the U.S. conducting the operation on its own, this person said. Ultimately Trump decided to approve a joint operation. The person with direct knowledge of Israel’s plans suggested Netanyahu may present Trump with a similar set of options during their Mar-a-Lago meeting. The fragile ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas is also expected to feature prominently in the talks between Netanyahu and Trump, amid concerns both sides are failing to take action to carry out the next phase of the deal.

2 weeks ago - Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem says moves to disarm the terror group in Lebanon are an “Israeli-American plan,” accusing Israel of failing to abide by a ceasefire agreement reached last year. Under heavy US pressure and the possibility of expanded Israeli strikes, the Lebanese military is expected to complete Hezbollah’s disarmament south of the Litani River — located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) from the border with Israel — by the end of the year. It is then meant to tackle disarming the Iran-backed group in the rest of the country.

Israel-Iran ceasefire: What we know about the deal
June 24, 2025 - Two hours after Israel said it had agreed to the truce, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it had identified missiles launched from Iran. Katz accused Iran of a "complete violation" of the terms, adding that he had instructed the military to "continue the intense activity of attacking Tehran to thwart regime targets and terrorist infrastructures". The Iranian military denied it had fired missiles after the ceasefire had taken effect.
