September 17, 2013 - So you are saying speed upgrades do not only improve the speed of how fast the node is filling up but also how fast the node is sending out the item? ... The speed upgrade makes it cycle through the pipes faster. The transfer node individually checks each pipe in the network for a connected inventory each second or half-second (can't remember which off the top of my head).
