Having used Elite 65t Active for years I was not expecting any problems but despite countless attempts I have not gotten the Elite 3 to connect to either work- ot private PC.
Private PC does not even see the Elite 3. On work PC the Elite 3 pops up, then dissapears, pops up again end so on.
What's worse is that after trying with the Elite 3 I now cannot get my 65t to work with Work PC either.
I could very well be using my last Jabra device ever if I do not find a solution.
I got a new pair of Jabra Elite 3 ear buds for Christmas, that day I was able to pair them to my laptop and hear with no issue. Used them over the coarse of the next few days and they auto connected anytime I took them out of the case and worked with no issue. Haven't used them since before the new year, but took them out today to try and use them at school but they seem to connect but no sound comes through.
I've tried unpairing and repairing, restarting the earbuds and the computer, checking for computer updates and driver updates. They connect and work fine with my iPhone and iPad. Sometimes they'll connect on Bluetooth but not appear as audio output options, sometimes they'll connect and say mic only, sometimes they'll connect (and I head the connection chimes in the earbuds) but still no computer sounds coming through. I've tried running the Windows Bluetooth troubleshooter to no avail.
Occasionally I can get sound to come through but it's VERY choppy and inconsistent. Oddly enough at one point I was able to get the audio more consistent if I tilted my head to the left...
Any help would be MUCH appreciated! My brother gave these to me for Christmas and I really want to get full use out of them
hey,
I thought I had the same issue too. For the people going to this site right away (like me), I hope my message helps. You still have to enable connecting mode on your Jabra before matching. You can do this by pressing both left and right at the same time for around 3 seconds. This let my laptop detect my earbuds, and i hope it solves most of you guys' problems as well!
Hi Ingrid,
I'm Amr, an independent advisor.
What is your headphones model?
Can you connect your headphones to another device and works fine?
Check if there is a compatibility issue between your device and your headphones, what Bluetooth version is on your PC

I just installed a new firmware update to my Jabra Elite 3.
I used the Elite 3 with my Android phone as well as with my Surface Laptop 3 (Windows 10 OS) and had no problem connecting to either of these devices.
After I updated the firmware - I can no longer connect the Elite 3 to my laptop.
The Elite 3 pairs to the computer, but doesn't connect (keeps connecting / disconnecting).
The Elite 3 do connect to my Android phone.
I spoke with Jabra support and they basically said it's my problem because laptops "aren't supported" which is just a ridiculous response from a company that sells Bluetooth earbuds IMO.
I tried updating the Windows 10 with every possible update, and after exhausting all of these options - even went ahead and reset the laptop to factory settings, deleting my entire laptop and installing a new Windows 10 OS. Still - the Elite 3 won't connect.
Hard for me to believe this is a laptop hardware problem since it started right after I installed the new firmware on the Elite 3.
Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it? Thanks.
