I have a dilemma. I've bought my jabra 75t long time ago and im very pleased how they sound, especially with bass(im basshead). Because my battery is dying I decided to upgrade. I've tried
Bose quietcomfort ultra - sound is ok (I didnt tried them for too long) but bass isn't as good as in 75t
Sony wf1000mx5- same issue
Jabra elite 10 - better sound(at least for my dad in comparison to 75t, for me it is the same with small differences and also it didn't fit my ear good enough) but still luck of hard bass like in 75t
Airpods pro gen 2 - overall the worst
And here is my dilemma - have you people found something better than 75t with strong bass? Of course best sound quality is mandatory but I've tried I think best of the best earbuds and still I haven't found earbuds that can even compare with bass I have in my 75t. I am thinking of just buying new 75t or just repair the battery. Some suggestions?
(Edit)
I bought another jabra 75t but actives ones. If someone is curious they sound the same (maybe if someone is audiophile there is a slight difference but it's like 1% of difference, at least for me)
I need to get some steam out. Thank you :)
A few years ago I bought an Elite 65t and was kinda happy. Not great sound, but it was okay.
Then I got the 75t and was blown away. Perfect fit, GREAT sound, and even the case is perfect. Small, rubberized for great grip when actually retrieving the buds.
Then 85t came, and I got those. They just kept falling out, no matter what. Sold them
Then Elite 7 came, and guess what, I got those. The buds was good enough, but the case.. slippery, and you had to open the case sideways. So I actually had to consentrate not to drop the whole thing opening it to get the buds. Sold them.
Now I bought the Elite 8 Active. The case is bigger, and its slippery. Its good enough to use, so no crisis there. Just a step down. The buds fits good enough, so thats okay as well. But you cannot adjust the volume at all on the buds? what?? The only good thing is that when I’m using them for calls, I don’t hear my own voice weirdly, so thats the only upgrade really. Might actually keep these just for that reason. (But I wont sell the 75t, they are just to good :))

I've read some great things about ity and I found them for $90. Is the sound quality really that good? How good is the noise cancelling?
I'm hearing from a lot of users that their 75t's are dying, some returned them because the left bud suddenly stopped working, hissing and static issues, poor battery life, and auto disconnects to the phone sometimes. I really would love to buy these 75t because of the amazing review on its sound quality and its high IP rating, but I'm scared that these buds will not last long. DO you think I should buy this or just go with the galaxy buds+?
Edit: I really want my next purchase of wireless buds to last long (probably at least 3-4yrs) because my sabbat e12 only lasted for 1 1/2 yr sadly.
Today, I would like to talk my jabra elite 75t
So, these earphones, I got them in a sale in March 2022, and they have stayed with me till June of 2025.
I will say these were the best earphones I have ever had and I don't think any other earphones come close to what these were, these were just perfect. The base was great. They fit perfectly in my ears, and they were very tough.
This is an appreciation post for my 75t and before anyone says. The problem was that the right earbud suddenly stopped working, no light, no nothing. Yes, I've tried contacting support as well. I've gave them every information I have tried every trick there is to follow to get them back, but it just didn't work. And the support emailed me saying that as the product is no longer under warranty, We can not provide much options to you.
Well, as all good things must come to an end. So did my earphones. I really enjoyed my time with them. They were with me every time in my pocket, they were just perfect for me.
Hope they rest in peace in the technological afterlife. I go to the gym w/o earphones now.
Edit : i am thinking of going with pixel buds pro 2, what do you guys think ?

I want true wireless earbuds that do it all… I want them to sound great when I listen to music, be comfortable and engaging while I work or walk the dog and – perhaps most importantly – stay in my damn ears when I’m exercising.
And that’s what has brought me to these, the Jabra Elite Active 75t. So let’s check them out and answer the question – are they any good?
So you may be wondering what changes have been made to the already well-reviewed Jabra Elite 75T to give this version the ‘active’ tag – and an extra £20 give or take to put these buds currently around the £150 mark.
Well, funnily enough they have been made for the more active wearer. And this is a big thing. Sporty models like the Powerbeats Pro, and even options like the Airpods Pro reportedly have an ipx4 rating, which means that they will not be bothered by a splash of water, or rain if you’re out jogging.
But these Jabras have an ip57 rating, which means they are waterproof, as well as dust- and sweat-resistant. You can submerge them in water if you want. This gives that little piece of extra confidence when you head out in rough conditions compared to the non-active Jabra’s IP55 rating.
But back to basics. What are we talking about here.
I don’t think I’m unique in wanting a pair of great all round wireless earbuds. Hell, you wouldn’t have thought so by the amount of choice there is on offer. Ever since I went from a pair of wired Sennheisers – that still kick ass by the way – to a pair of AOKII (a random pair that worked for me) then to truly wireless buds, it’s been a game changer.
Truly wireless is great for a number of reasons. From ease of use and just grabbing to wear around the house or on short walks – basically any time you don’t want to reach for the over ear cans – they’re perfect. As a runner, I also love being able to whack on my Garmin watch and leave the phone behind. It’s liberating!
So back to the Active Elite 75t. Like the Active Elite 65T before, these are small and neat earbuds that, for me, fit amazingly. There’s a slight screw motion you need to make to fit them into your lugholes, but once you have the correct fit with correct tip, it’s a beautiful moment. They are light, they don’t stick out like so many others do – and crucially – they create a great seal which allows for brilliant audio with surprisingly deep bass.
Of course the first thing you’ll notice is the teeny tiny case. It’s super small and rubberised, or at least grippy to the touch. There’s a wireless charging version available if you’re into that kind of thing. But with 20 hours of charge in the case adding to around 5 hours in the buds themselves, you may find some time passes between charges.
There is a choice of six different finishes available, but no matter which colour you choose, you’ll be buying a well-built pair of earbuds that really feel made to last.
Making a connection is easy. Taking the buds out of the case turns them on, then you simply hold the buttons on each bud for 3 seconds to enter paring mode. Go into your device’s settings to connect. You can also connect to more than one device at a time which is quite unusual and very welcome. There’s a Jabra app that lets you make changes to the EQ, switch between pre-sets and even customise what the buttons do for perfect personalisation.
Speaking of the controls, there’s a single circular push button on each bud and between them they cover almost everything by default. Single press right to play or pause. Single press left to switch between ANC, hear through and off. Double taps skip forward on left or back on right and holds handle volume up on left and down on right. It’s obviously not great having to push in on something that is already deep inside your head. But it doesn’t feel as uncomfortable as the 65t did as the buttons have less travel and feel more clicky.
With the earbuds positioned comfortably the Jabra Elite Active 75t make a decent first impression.
Bass is usually the first thing that becomes apparent. These things make a hell of a lot of it despite the size and it's very powerful, to the point of being overwhelming on some tracks. If you feel bass is lacking when you’re wearing them, I’d suggest trying another size tip as you’re not getting the correct fit. It really is impressive and a massive boost when you’re on that last mile when you have these set properly.
Detail is high across the board. I’ve seen the treble on these described as perky which is fair, and the mids are OK. It can sound a little muddy at times, especially in big rock numbers. While I found running to the likes of The Prodigy and Pendulum to be lots of fun, cranking up a big Foo Fighter’s number or thrashing about to Slipknot got messy and claustrophobic.
I’m being a little harsh on them here. But I think if you had an extended session or sat with them for multiple hours you would get tired. But that’s why I’m not expecting them to replace my Sony over ear cans
What about ANC and pass through. Well this has turned out to be something of a secret weapon from Jabra, as the 75Ts didn’t originally ship with ANC. But it’s been added in through an update that you can access through the app which is brilliant. The fact is that with a tight seal, it doesn’t need much to really remove any outside noise from your ears, but it’s still remarkable when you switch it on. Likewise, the hear through mode is excellent. If you’re running and want to be aware of traffic, you’re sorted. Although you will also bring is some harsh wind noise. But if you’re wearing them on your commute and want to order coffee before getting to the office, there’s no need to take them out. Class.
Here’s something to consider though, and it’s worth me highlighting my Powerbeats Pro review at this time. The Jabra Elite Active 75T do give the goldfish bowl sensation when you’re wearing them. This isn’t a criticism per se, and I do enjoy the fit and seal that these buds create. But you do get an occlusion effect and when you’re running or even just walking, this equals that vibration from your feet hitting the pavement making it sometimes uncomfortable and often difficult to overlook.
As I said in the Powerbeats Pro video, it’s kind of like holding a glass up to the wall to hear a conversation in another room. You don’t really hear the noise so much, you get the vibrations and that muffled sort of sensation that your ear tries to decipher.
I have to say, I simply did not notice this effect until trying the Powerbeats Pro. And it may just be something that I am especially sensitive to. But I have to mention it because, for me, it means these earbuds simply cannot be the best overall one-and-done earbuds.
Now I’ve heard the newer 85T model may have solved this issue with a more open design that doesn’t go as deep into your ear canal. I’d like to try this, although there is no ‘active’ version of the 85T as yet. The elite version does have a decent IP rating though so I’d like to give it a try.
In conclusion, I think you can already see where I’m going. These are a solid all-round option. And for the last year or more I have been happily using them as my sole pair of wireless buds alongside my over ear Sony WH-1000XM3.
If you’re only an occasional runner, or your workouts are more static and less about foot movement, then I would still highly recommend these buds as they are super comfortable and sound great with the right fit.
But with newer options promising to lessen the occlusion effect I would have to suggest waiting for these models or trying alternatives. For me, the uncomfortable sensation while running was just too much to ignore. If you are a frequent runner I’d point you in the direction of the Powerbeats Pro, although they come with a different set of considerations as they are not as good outside of your workout.
For me, the search continues! I’ll see you guys soon.
Scanned over 50 000 ears. How was it performed? Did they take into account diverse backgrounds? I'm not sure if it's because of my ear shape but the sound quality of the Jabra Elite 10 is so much poorer that the 75t I have. I have tested different music providers.
With the 75t, Spotify is better than YouTube Music obviously.
But with the Elite 10, YouTube Music is better. The sound is clearer, crisper. For some reason Spotify took a big impact on sound, quality is so low. I had to change the volume settings from normal to loud. I also had to turn Dolby off which altogether made some improvements.
I have tried different ear tips and yet the sound quality doesn't match or is superior to its predecessor, 75t lmao
Because the settings of music providers have been adjusted, this then makes the 75t even more superior.
Why do you need to fix all settings to high is odd. I have the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
Edit: As mentioned in my replies from your comments, I have performed a brief objective analysis on the sound quality of both earbuds I can say by far that the 75t is much better. In addition to the above, I had used it on my PC and watching movies, listening to music with the elite 10 is so much poorer than the 75t. I can perform a comprehensive sound quality analysis and release it to the community if you are really eager to know. I just have to waste my time finding the answers. Otherwise make an exchange or a refund. Tests I have done were frequency response test, imaging test, distortion test, and various others.
Hey yall, I love my earbuds, I just love them. we are besties but... let's say I would like to have another pair. If I want to stay in Jabra family, which one should I go for next?
75t are the best earbuds in the world anyway, love is love.
Wanted to give my experience as it's not quite the same as a lot of others I've read on here and elsewhere.
I've had these since mid-March and I use them around 5-9 hours a day due to my job in tech and all the remote web meetings I have. I'm in calls around 5-6 hours a day so I've had a lot of call use with them as well as music while I work. I also own the 65t Elite Actives so I will be comparing directly to them for anyone that is considering both.
The Good: The 75t's are much more comfortable than the 65t's due to the size and weight decrease. They also look much cleaner and minimalist. I can almost forget they are in. I could not forget the 65t's were there and for the first month I owned those they really hurt my ears to wear for more than an hour at a time. Eventually I think my ears actually changed shape a bit and they didn't much anymore, but that still sucked. Didn't have to do that at all with the 75t's
The sound is incredible. I'm a bit of a bass head but I enjoy all kinds of music. These can offer HEAVY hitting bass for your Rap, Trap, Dubstep, DnB, etc. And by tweaking the equalizer through the app, you can get the clean, crisp sounds you enjoy in jazz, classical, soundtracks, etc. I can definitely see how the bass could be too heavy for some but I love it and the equalizer gives you a decent amount of control.
The microphones are fantastic. Calls are very clear and volume on call even while dialed in to web meetings is more than adequate at around 80%. Hear-through is also vastly superior to my 65t's. When there is no music playing or it's at a low volume and hear-through is on max it's almost as if I don't have earphones in at all it sounds so clear and loud. The 65ts hear-through was decent at best and still sounded pretty muffled. Sometimes I couldn't even tell it was on in a quiet environment. I've also played around with a friend's Apple Airpod Pro's and they sounded really clean with their hear-through function on but it was not quite as loud to me as the 75t's though I didn't get to play around with them for very long.
The case is a vast improvement over the 65t's. It fits in a pocket much more easily and actually stands upright. It also feels like it charges the headphones faster than the old version did.
The Bad: Mostly, I have not had the sound issues with the left bud that others have reported, though I have always had an issue since I bought them and two firmware updates later; the left earbud sometimes just doesn't reconnect. If you take out the left ear bud for more than a minute sometimes it will not connect back unless I turn off both pairs and sometimes have to repair to my device (a Pixel 4 XL). Sometimes the left earbud cuts out when I'm connecting to a call on WebEx and it is a pain to get it to repair to the right.
Sometimes the mics don't work when connecting to a call. So I can hear them but they can't hear me. The remedy for this is changing the audio output on my call to the phone instead of the 75t's and then switching back but it is still a pain and took me a while to figure out the fix. It has not been fixed by the most recent update for me.
The battery life especially when I'm on straight calls for 5 or more a hours a day at work is not really as advertised. The 65t's could do around 4.5 hours of voice calls with music in between calls before they were completely dead. The 75t's will give me a battery low notification at 10% left after 5 hours of calls and music in between. And will be dead around 10 to 20 minutes after than. For an increase of a maximum 50 minutes over the previous generation. Which is decent amount lower than was promised 6 to 7 hours to me. I do always have the Sidetone on (mics feeding your voice to you on a call for less muffled sound on a call) and call volume is usually at 60% to 80%. Music volume is usually at 40% to 60% and hear-through is usually off. So your mileage may vary here. I was just hoping for more.
The Ugly: With all of the provided eartips I could not get a fit that actually stayed in my ears. Even sitting stationary and simply talking on calls just the movement of my jaw would move the both of the buds out of my ears over time, mostly the left though. When I exercise with them, it is even worse. This happened on both the small and medium size. On the large size, it created a painful suction because it was too tight most of the time. Oddly, I found that switching the eartips to the large size of the 65t's eartips works perfectly for me. They stay in now and don't hurt. The silicone material must be a little different on them and the tips that came with the 75t's seem to be a bit slicker. Size might be ever so slightly different too but it's not visible to my eyes.
Sometimes they straight up don't charge. The case is now magnetic instead of a slight clip on the 65t's. This is a great improvement to me on the case itself but it seems that the magnetic part that pulls the buds into the case in a way that doesn't quite get the pins in the case to meet the charge pads on the buds. I have been burned quite a few times so now I'm in the habit of checking the buds are charging by lifting the lid after I've put them in, closed the lid and let the case led light turn off. If I see the buds led light up with their battery indicator of red, yellow, or green then they seem to be fine and charging. But frequently, I put them in the case, they flash red and disconnect from my phone. I close the case, wait till the led light on the case turns off, open the lid back up and one of the buds (right more than left but both do it sometimes) will not light up like it was charging. And this appear to be accurate because I've tested it. If the light didn't come on and I let it sit there for 15 min or so, take them back out and check the battery, the level has not changed at all. So to fix this, I frequently have to reopen the case and wiggle the bud around so that it connects correctly and starts charging. Maybe I have a bad pair/case in this respect, I don't know, but I know that this pretty much never happened with the 65t's and they are not magnetic.
Final thoughts: They sounds great and overall I think they are a big improvement on the 65t's. Hopefully firmware updates fix some of the issues but this really should not be the case with a device this expensive. As others have said in reviews, feels like Jabra rushed these out before their testing had been thoroughly completed.
The app function on these is much better and the controls offered by the physical buttons on the 75t's versus the 65t's takes some learning but they are much more useful once you get used to them, espeically the call controls. Volume control is not as easy to control on a granular level though.
The My Sound update on the 75t's app version seemed to improve the sound for me even more and they already sounded fantastic.
I think for the bugs I've seen they are quite over priced. Especially for the casual user. I use these 5+ hours a day at least 5 days a week, which I am betting puts me in the minority of users. They still feel over priced to me and I still like them.
Hope this helps someone out that is considering either of these headphones. I'd still get the Elite 75t Actives but only if I could get them on sale for $150 or less, which may be feasible by Black Friday or so this year.
Thanks. Interesting read. I have the Elite 65t and have been toying with the idea of upgrading, but I think it's getting close to the next iteration so maybe I'll wait. That said, the 65t works fine for me at the moment.
Great review. Totally relate to how you have to check it is charging as sometimes the pins don't align.
Is it still a good pair of earphones to buy in 2022? Does anyone know if there are any better alternatives available?
Currently on sale on Amazon for $100 new with wireless charging case. On the fence because of countless report of reliability issues. For current users with the 75t, how is the comfort and ANC? Any long term reliability issues? Thanks in advance!
Edit: Thanks guys, ended up purchasing it.
Ill just say this, I recently got 'em after extensively looking at most if not all options. Just ask yourself what will you get else where for your 100 bucks and it becomes clear. These were the best sounding earbuds ever produced NYT still suggests this a best TW earbuds period and thats pretty encouraging.
They sound great, the anc is amazing and the fit is stellar. However I am on my third pair because the first two stopped working after about six months each.
I’ve poured hours into researching the best earbuds, scouring countless reviews to slim it down to a shortlist, only to find every option seems to come with a notable compromise.
Here’s what I’ve found:
Technics AZ80: Sound quality and comfort are both excellent, but noise cancellation? Surprisingly mediocre.
Sony XM5: Great sound quality, but they’re just not comfortable enough for long wear.
EarFun Air 4 Pro: Good for the price but nothing exceptional by any measure.
Bose QC Ultra: A solid all-rounder - comfortable, superb sound, astonishing anc - and the ones I'd most likely keep... if they weren't plagued by connectivity issues that everyone is complaining about. It's simply unacceptable at this price point.
I was really hoping to find that "wow" in a pair of new earbuds, but at this point, I can’t justify spending nearly £300 to upgrade from my Jabra Elite Active 75t's. Despite being nearly five years old, they just work – rich sound, good noise cancellation, and comfortable enough to wear for hours. Honestly, the fact that they outperform the AZ80’s noise cancelling, is pretty disappointing in a supposedly premium model.
After all the hype, I expected a lot more from 2024’s offerings. It’s frustrating that there’s still no clear winner.
Hi guys,
I used to love the 75t for all reasons
I do not like the 7pro (which I use now) very much, especially because the fit is way worse but also numerous other reasons, now I am wondering if the Elite 10 is improving the situation, so I am looking for informed hands-on reports.
Anyone has experience with 2 or more of the three?
Thank you!
i’m thinking about buying them. are they still worth it in 2021?
imo the best set of in ears period. just returned the B&O EQs due to fit and poor controls. Have senn mtws - great sound, but again - fit is meh. controls stink, no EQ.
Jabras have punchy bass, best controls out there, full eq, great mic/call quality, fully customizable controls and fit like a glove. can forget they are in.
Yes. Especially for $80. I’ve had mine for 2 years and use them daily.
I've seen many reviews from people online who love them but also have seen people here on this sub say that they don't last and support in getting replacements is terrible.
I was thinking of buying a pair from amazon UK. Users of jabra 75s, knowing what you know how, would you say I should buy them?
I am also considering sennheiser cx400bt which are the same price but sennheisers aren't waterproof and look less attractive.
Advice is appreciated! I don't have a high paying job so I don't want to regret my purchase
I've owned several different earbuds and the 75t is the best by far I've ever had in nearly every way. Sites like this attract posters who've had issues, but I'd wager the vast majority don't have any or any serious problems. I would absolutely buy them again.
I’ve had the 75t Active for a few months now. Thankfully, I haven’t had any serious issues with them.
Pros:
The sound quality and bass is pretty damn good. It’s one of my favorites out of other wireless earbuds in the same price range. They fit comfortably in my ear and can go hours without any discomfort. I did have to change the tips to SpinFit ones for a better fit though. People have complained about the call quality, but I haven’t had any issues with them.
Cons:
Because the left bud pairs with the right one, there have been some issues with connection. Sometimes I don’t hear anything from it. Putting them back in the case and taking them back out solves the issue. ANC is decent at best. Occasionally there’s a cackling noise that gets a bit annoying, but I only hear it when I’m not playing any music.
I paid around $130 and I’m happy with them.
Features: 2/10 They don't charge wirelessly The Master/Slave creates unbalance and hissing, not acceptable for 180$. They won't reach very far, the music cuts out after being not so distant from your phone, again, not accaptable for 180%.
Sound: 6/10 The basses covers the mids, and after trying the Sony's WF1000XM3 the difference is immediate, they're more warm and balanced. They just pumped up the bass to make them feel more premium, but they don't really sound better than 120$ earbuds.
Battery 7/10 It's a little less than what has been advertised, they last 6.5 not 7.5, but it's good anyways. Apart from the calls, they last like 3 hours when you make a call, the battery skyrockets down, strange.
Mic Quality: 7/10 It's ok I guess. Not as good as any airpods Mic, or the Freebuds, but it's a good Microphone.
Comfort and design: 9/10 probably the only thing I like from these. They're small, they fit well in the ear, the black out lots of noise despite only having PNC, the case is really portable.
Technical Support: 1/10. Boy oh boy, the amounts of complaints regarding these are funny. After trying 10 different pairs of Jabras Elite 75ts, from friends, from different stores, from their techincal official support, I can confirm that they have ALL of the issues that everyone complains about. Hissing Not balanced Audio connection Issues bad BT range Hissing that makes calls a torture to my ears the left earbud can't handle some frequencies and it starts to crackle. There's an EVIDENT design flaw, and everyone that says that it isn't true, must be delusional.
Final Rating: 4/10. To no surprise all of the reviewers gave this a good score after trying them for 3 hours and putting them back where they are. The only good thing about these is the comfort, and the Bassy Sound Quality if you're a fan of that.(Personally not) For everything else, this is basically the same product as the Jabras 65t, but worse in any aspect apart from the battery and the case. At least those don't have 3000 technical issues, and I hear LOTS and LOTS of people complain more about the 75ts than the 65ts.
Verdict: Buy them only if you want to waste money, they're not worth 180$.
Thank you for your review. I completely agree.
For me it means, that it doesn't make a sense to waste a time with support, as replacement pair will have same issues (hissing and cracking).
I disagree with you on the distance thing. I can walk thru doors, walls, and more and I hear them fine. The sound isn't the best for music, I have been using them for calls. And I also don't hear any hiss and everyone hears me fine. I think they are worth $120 which is what I paid for them. Wireless charging is a feature, not a necessary need for true wireless earbuds
Hey guys,
I want to buy some Jabra Elite 75t. However, I did some research and many people complained about connecting issues especially around 6 months ago.
Is this still an issue or is it resolves by an firmware upgrade.
In addition I do not know how bad the Problem really was and how many were affected. I mean usually one just write something in a forum when you have a Problem, not when everything works flawlessly.
Why the Elite 75t: The sound should be good for me and I want to use them for calls (skype for business, zoom,...), too. Multipoint connection is a plus, too.
I already tried the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 but they hurt in my ears. Not inside the ear but in the Auricle.
Because of the pictures I think and hope the jabras will fit better.
My concerns are just the disconnection issues. I dont like the master/slave setting but if it works I do not really care.
Thanks for your help.
Both are around the same price. 75t is a bit more cheaper as they're like an old model, which is a better buy for general day to day usage.
