Many Motorola phones lack ASHA and I believe all lack LE Audio. They're the worst possible phones for hearing aids,... and the rest of the Chinese brands aren't far behind. Look carefully at the phone specs. If it lists "Hearing Aid Compatible" that means it supports telecoil, which is a 20th century technology to make land line telephones interface with hearing aids via an analog antenna. That's not streaming and that's what the law requires. Motorola with very few exceptions only complies with this antiquated law. If it specifically lists ASHA compatibility then it will stream audio to your hearing aids. It will not support hands free calls. It would require LE Audio capability for that and the only common phones with LE Audio are recent Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixels. I'll follow in a separate post, but understand that Motorola are raging crap garbage when it comes to hearing accessibility. They are AWFUL. The Jabra Enhance Pro 20 is the Premium tier 'technology level'. The Jabra Enhance Select 500 is the Advanced tier 'technology level', so one technology level down. If you pay for the premium service with the Enhance Select 500, you get the custom audiogram pre-programmed to you. If you get the basic version with the lower tier warranty, they supposedly just program the generic program which may or may not be a good fit (general age-related loss profile.) In practice, if you pay Jabra directly, the Enahance Select 500 costs *more* for a slightly worse hearing aid, and you don't get the fitting with real ear measurements, feedback thresholds etc. IMHO, get the Costco membership, cancel the Sam's Club membership (their hearing aids are not nearly as good or cost-effective) Also, are you using a ReSound now? Are you happy with it? They tend to emphasize (over-emphasize?) speech. Some folks prefer that, some don't like how it doesn't sound natural enough. Also if you're going to use it with your phone at all, I hope you have an iPhone. ReSound does not work reliably with Android. It work, but drops connection frequently and sometimes needs to be re-paired. IMHO, I'd look at the Philips 9050, Rexton Reach, and then the Jabra Pro 20 in that order. More on reddit.com

I don’t know if any hearing aid, regardless of price, will sound as good with music as even cheap headphones or earbuds. HAs are designed to help primarily with hearing speech. More on reddit.com
