r/feedthebeast on Reddit: Minecraft using Java17 when I don't even have it, and I need it to run newer versions!!
December 17, 2025 -

I am genuinely so fed up with ts. I've tried lots of things to fix this but oh god it just won't stop using Java 17 WHEN I DON'T EVEN HAVE IT INSTALLED
I've tried running "java --version" on cmd and yes, it says im running the newest version, but damn it I guess I'm stupid and also ugly because it STILL USES JAVA 17

Please help. I am DESPERATE.
