September 15, 2015Java: A Beginner's Guide Seventh Edition a good book to go more in depth into Java?
I have the 6th edition one of this book. Imo, the book is not going into details about every aspects of java. My impression for this book is like the author only talks about just enough material so we can do it. I dont remember exactly but I think the book didn't cover the collection frameworks. I wish it could have been more in depth and at least talks a bit about the frameworks. However, there is another book from the same author. It's called Java: the complete reference. I think the latest edition is tenth edition, I'm not sure. This book goes into the "good" stuff about Java. As far as the content goes, I have no idea since I haven't read.
