Yes/No. JS made a lot of modern changes with EMCA2015/ES6+, which you are currently learning. Some of the big changes are arrow functions, let/const, revised scoping, etc. Once you finish what you are learning, you can just look up the new ES7-9 features and learn them, from what I recall the biggest jump is what you are learning now (ie the new changes aren't as drastic). Once you finish this series, you can just check out the differences of the new feature sets via blog posts or documentation. More on reddit.com
