Pablo acts as a thin wrapper around the contents of a web page, making it easier to work with dynamically-generated SVG and avoiding the verbose code required when using raw JavaScript. Pablo provides methods like circle() and line() to create each kind of SVG element. It has methods for manipulating SVG and HTML, to change the appearance, size, position and other properties. It also has methods for filtering and sorting the elements. It has a simple plugin system, allowing new functionality to be added. To be honest, I’m not the best coder, but other members of our team have prepared presentations about the technology behind Vectr and the challenges of building a performant vector graphics editor in the web browser.

VectorDraw web library is written exclusively in Javascript and runs on the client side, also it contains an object model similar to that of DXF and .Net VectorDraw Framework components. The key of this web control is the .vds format that we have created. The user must convert his drawings into vds format using vdfCAD or our VectorDraw Developers Framework library. VDS files must be uploaded to a server and then the web control(inserted in a webpage) is capable into downloading this file to the client's machine and display it.

The editor was created specifically for creating vector art for the HTML 2D Canvas API in the form of native Javascript code.
