I'd like to buy one of those, I currently have the flip 4 and the battery needs to be replaced, so I'm planning to buy flip 5 for 55 and flip 6 for 80 they're in a discount rn, I want a louder speaker, is the flip 6 alot more louder than the 6? Is it worth it, I'd like to save as much as I can since my parents don't buy stuffs for me and I earn my own money by reselling stuff, I'm 15
Hi. I want to get one of those for my GF as a gift. Is it worth paying more for a flip 6? She is a basic user. Don't think she will use many features, but she needs good sound quality and reliability. Flip 5 is ~80€, Flip 6 is ~120€

Looking to purchase one of 3 speakers listed in the title. I was reading some review websites and found that the flip 4 had a lot of things that the two never ones didn’t have such as aux, and mic to use as a speakerphone for your phone. How is the battery and sound quality between all 3? I still have a lighting to aux, for my iPhone cuz I’m still old school and believe aux is high quality
Tested these out this week. Flip 5 is priced down these days, the Flip 6 is dustproof. All results here: https://thegreatestsong.com/jbl-flip-5-vs-flip-6/
I was just wondering if it's worth the upgrade. I got my Flip 5 pretty much right when it released and it is still going strong and kicking. I've been seeing the Flip 6 on sale for $99 is my primary reason. Any pros and cons to those who has both other than no aux port. And can they be partyboost paired?
Charge 5 costs 150$, flip 6 costs 140$ and the 7 costs 170$. What’s the best option for me if I’ll use it for things like beach parties, cookouts etc. the flip series is nice because of the portability and the charge looks good because of the improved sound quality. But is it REALLY noticeable between the flip and charge?
after a good 4-5 years, my beloved jbl flip5 officially died and now i’m trying to decide whether or not it’s worth it to buy another flip 5 bc i loved it (plus it’s much cheaper at this point) or to upgrade to the flip 6 (although it is more expensive) bc i assume it’s higher quality(?) lol
was thinking of maybe getting the flip 7 but i think it’s not really necessary or that important to get the “latest and greatest” also in terms of cost
thoughts? :)
Or should i buy any other one? Help me choose one...
I need your honest opinion please. I just bought the flip 6 and I'm kinda regretting it looking at the charge 5 for a little bit more of money (about 50 bucks more in my country). Should I sell my flip 6 and get the charge 5 ? Is the sound quality that different ? Thanks in advance!
What’s better they have same battery flip 5 I assume is done by Harmon Kardon don’t know that about Flip 6 Price difference is 15 $
Hi all,
I would like to buy my first speaker ever, but I am not sure... I like the size of the GO, but I have read that the Flip 6 is very good. I think I would use it mostly for indoors alone/with friends, but maybe once I a while in a park while reading.
Which one of these should I buy? Or should I wait for the Flip 7? Also I am kinda waiting for Amazon Prime sales...
Thanks for your help :)
Update: I went for the Clip 5 as I want something portable but with a good battery life so it was kinda the middle ground between the Go 4 and Flip 6. AND I am very happy!! It sounds so good :D
Hi there, I'm thinking about buying either Charge 5 or Flip 6, what do you recommend?
JBL Grip vs JBL Flip 5
I'll be using them indoors for about 90% of the time and l listen to a wide range of music. My priority is a loud speaker with clear sound output, not too keen on the bass.
Got my hands on these this week and tested them out. Results here: https://thegreatestsong.com/jbl-flip-5-vs-flip-6/
Price is not a factor for me.
I would mostly use the speaker in public areas, so wouldn’t be blasting it. Probably 50% volume. I’ve heard Flip 6 sounds better on the lower volume range.
I would also bring the flip 6 on walks and possibly hikes, so the weight does matter to me. Is it much heavier?
Finally, durability does matter. Are they equally waterproof?
From my experience the flip sounds just fine under 50% volume, and since it's lighter, it will likely be easier to carry around and sustain less damage if it's dropped.
Charge 5 is better at any volumes, has a better bass extension and more defined mids. The only reason you'd buy the flip is the portability and price, that's all.
