Is a JBL 310 a good speaker to use for a house party of 30-50 people?
PartyBox 310 vs. 320
JBL Partybox 310 doesn't sound good.
Thoughts on JBL Partybox 310?
I have the 300 and its awesome. We have done a lot of micro raves with two of it (6h at almost full volume using audio jacks).
310 has a bit more power, water resistant but no rca.
Go for it, you wont regret it!

Trying to find a good speaker for a house party for a wide range of people. My biggest option right now is the JBL 310 but I’m getting mixed reviews. I’m hearing that it’s only good for about 20 people, but I also hear it’s also very loud with deep bass. Has anyone used this speaker for a large party before?
Side note: I don’t need this speaker to absolutely blast everyone’s ears, if the music is able to be heard enough to get people to move a bit that should be more than enough.
I can purchase the PartyBox 320 for the same price as the 310 with a discount code. Is there any reason to choose the 310 over the 320 or is the 320 just better in every way?
Edit: Also, how do both of these speakers compare to the Boombox 3?
I went to a buddy of mine's house and spent some time listening to his JBL Partybox. Haven't spent much time with those speakers but I just wasn't impressed. We were listening to music inside. While deep, I can only describe the bass as not authentic sounding and the clarity across the frequencies didn't seem clear. Could I have been doing something wrong? I've heard plenty of good reviews for those speakers. Been tossing around buying one but not after that experience.
Been looking into a lot of different speakers that are not only good in quality but also sound and that are wireless and have a battery. Have narrowed it down to a few and a lot of people are saying good things about the JBL Partybox 310. Anybody have any thoughts or personal experience with this specific speaker?

Personally, for its price and on better sound quality criteria alone, the UE Hyperboom and Braven XXL/2 are nicer picks for big speakers.
Special mentions for Monster Super Blaster and JBL Boombox.
