So I've ordered the jbl partybox encore 2 a short while ago and so far im a big fan. Here's what I like and what I dont like I really like the upgraded battery life, the one thing that held me back from the og encore Also the replaceable battery is nice, but I dont think I'll use it until my battery degrades, but its also nice that you can plug it out when you're not gonna use it for an extended period of time so it doesnt drain It's very lightweight and way easier to carry I also like the included mic because that's always fun Now here's what I dont like/like more on the older model
I dont like how the handle is positioned, I like the old one more because when you hold it the speaker fires to the front and not the side like on the new one Also I dont know how to explain this but the buttons layout I preferred on the old one with the knobs in the middle and everything kind of clicking into place like a perfect puzzle due to the handle and the controls sitting more together (just my brain appreciating small details) I also dont like how jbl gives one mic extra in certain regions I also don't like how instead of 4 knobs you only get 2 and on top of that they dont have light rings around them for you to see how far you've adjusted them, because with the new one you have to see on the light ring on the speaker itself so you have to turn it to see how you had it set up and I feel like these removed knobs and leds are removed for the sake of removing especially since it would only add maybe 5 bucks to the end price and even less for jbl to manufacture
So this is my review for the jbl partybox encore 2 let me know in the comments if you (dis)agree with anything and I hope this helped you in choosing whether to buy it or not
TL;DR How can output the mic to two PartyBox Encores or Essential?
Title. Loved the Encore when I bought it. I thought about investing in another one to make it stereo via TWS, but apparently the limitations in the audio prevent the mic from being passed on to the other speaker.
I heard there's a way to circumvent the mic limitation, but only if there's a mic jack using daisy chain to output the sound onto the other speaker via a wired connection. Now, that could work with Encore Essential in theory, but there's no Audio Out aux, thus making daisy chain impossible, AFAIK.
The Encore may have built-in mics, but there's no input for replacing another set of mics. For the Essential, there's a mic jack, but no audio output either. JBL's TWS function doesn't allow for the mic to pass over the other speaker.
If my intention is to add another speaker not only for the stereo imaging but also to make mics audible for BOTH speakers, what could be a solution? Scoured the net for this, but haven't found the answer yet.
Thanks for those who will contribute.
EDIT: PS I plan on getting the soon-to-be-released 320 as well, but my immediate plan is to get another Encore or Essential and take advantage of the stereo function. Thus, I'm looking for a solution limited only to those PBs for now.
