April 11, 2025How could one obtain the original GoT pilot, the one with Jennifer Ehle?
Like av4rice said, the biggest hurdle at the moment is getting it released at all. November 25, 2019Just finished the BBC Pride and Prejudice series with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth, and I loved it ๐ But tbh, I think Mr. Darcy in the 2005 film was better at expressing how flustered and "ardently in love" he was with Elizabeth. Not to mention the rain scene and the hand scene ๐๐

There may be quite a few who already know that this exists, but for those who don't, the wonderful Jennifer Ehle created a YT channel to read P&P during lockdown. I only just discovered this myself the other day, and it's an absolute delight. I just popped it on a playlist to listen to while getting about my day and it's such a great way to find the time to "read" the book again. It's a real thrill to have it read to you in Elizabeth's voice. Someone seriously needs to commission a full audio book of P&P with Jennifer Ehle narrating. And now I have a bunch of thoughts swirling in my head about whether the fandom could crowdfund such a project. Hmm...
