Try join:
my_array = (['T', 'e', 's', 't', ' ', 'w', 'o', 'r', 'd', 's', '!'])
joined_array = ''.join(my_array)
Which gives:
'Test words!'

Python - Join Arrays
Here, we use the append() method to join two arrays. import array as arr # creating two arrays a = arr.array('i', [10,5,15,4,6,20,9]) b = arr.array('i', [2,7,8,11,3,10]) # merging both arrays for i in range(len(b)): a.append(b[i]) print (a) ...

I have this array of strings that I have split element wise so I can do stuff to it. Now I want to return them back into a sentence. my_array = (['T', 'e', 's', 't', ' ', 'w', 'o', 'r', 'd', 's', '... More on stackoverflow.com
How do i combine multiple numpy arrays into one?
np.stack(), np.vstack(), np.hstack(), np.dstack(), np.concatenate(), np.column_stack(), np.row_stack(). One of those might work for your case. Just check out the examples for what might be analogous to your problem. Probably a horizontal stack if this is a 1D array (error message). Check out the left menu: https://numpy.org/doc/stable/reference/generated/numpy.stack.html#numpy.stack More on reddit.com
How to merge arrays when a certain condition is met?
I would use Pandas because it handles data like this a bit better. Say you have these two series (in place of two of the many traces you seem to be trying to take the maximum of): >>> import pandas as pd >>> a = pd.Series([10, 20, 30, 40], [0, 1, 2, 3]) >>> b = pd.Series([10, 20, 30, 40], [2, 3, 4, 5]) and stick them together into a dataframe: >>> pd.DataFrame([a, b]) 0 1 2 3 4 5 0 10.0 20.0 30.0 40.0 NaN NaN 1 NaN NaN 10.0 20.0 30.0 40.0 The maximum of the dataframe seems to be more or less what you want: >>> pd.DataFrame([a, b]).max() 0 10.0 1 20.0 2 30.0 3 40.0 4 30.0 5 40.0 And then you just plot: >>> c = pd.DataFrame([a, b]).max() >>> import matplotlib.pyplot as plt >>> ax = plt.gca() >>> a.plot(ax=ax) >>> b.plot(ax=ax) >>> c.plot(ax=ax) >>> plt.show() This will only work if the x coordinates exactly match up in the overlapping regions. If they don't, it's probably easiest to interpolate the data somehow such that they do. Pandas series and dataframe objects have an .interpolate() method for that. More on reddit.com

Python join() Method: Join Strings from a List (with Examples)
June 5, 2026 - The join() function in Python is used to merge items from a collection, such as a list or tuple, into a single string. It takes a separator and combines the elements of the collection with that separator in between. This makes it easy to create strings from collections without needing complex loops or logic. For example, if you have a list of words ["Hello", "world", "Python"] and want to join them with spaces, you would use join() like this:

However, array itself is not a built-in type, instead we need to use the array class in Python's built-in array module. To join two arrays, we can do it by appending each item from one array to other.

Python Join Array: A Comprehensive Guide - CodeRivers
February 22, 2026 - In Python, an array is typically represented as a list. A list can contain elements of different data types, including strings, numbers, and even other lists or objects. The join method is a string method, not a list method. It takes a list of strings as an argument and combines them into a single string, using the string on which the join method is called as a separator between the elements of the list. For example, if you have a list ['apple', 'banana', 'cherry'] and you want to join these elements with a comma as a separator, you can use the following code:

The method uses a comma to separate items in the resulting string, which is particularly useful when dealing with arrays.
