If you don't already have a JSONArray object, call
JSONArray jsonArray = new JSONArray(jsonArrayString);
Then simply loop through that, building your own array. This code assumes it's an array of strings, it shouldn't be hard to modify to suit your particular array structure.

There are two problems with your code :
- First is that you are using a
getJsonArray()to get the array, which isn't part of Gson library, you need to use getAsJsonArray() method instead. - Second is that you are using
array.toString()which isn't obvious because for thefromJsonmethod you need ajsonArrayas parameter and notStringand that will cause you parse problems, just remove it.
And use the following code to convert your jsonArray to List<Noticia> :
Type type = new TypeToken<List<Noticia>>() {}.getType();
List<Noticia> lista = gson.fromJson(array, type);
And your whole code will be:

JSONArray array = obj.getAsJsonArray("result");

I think the problem could be something to do with toString() on JSONArray. But are you using obj.getAsJsonArray method?
Try this:

The problem is not in your code but in your json:
{"Compemployes":[{"id":1001,"name":"jhon"}, {"id":1002,"name":"jhon"}]}
this represents an object which contains a property Compemployes which is a list of Employee. In that case you should create that object like:

and to deserialize the json simply do:

If your json should directly represent a list of employees it should look like:
