always fun to see the json guys struggling with the previous generation's xml issues. Not that I particularly like either, you understand, and honestly json is obviously less crushingly verbose, it's just amusing. People do seem to have to learn the hard way that a lot of the "complicated" stuff xml had was there for a reason. Structured JSON Editor Suggestions?

If you are truly going to use JSON, then switching to other input/output format later on should be relatively easy. Sounds like you want to force JSON to behave like a database, so maybe you could just use an actual key-value database, something like MongoDB? It has some GUIs for easy editing of fields (googling "mongodb ui" or "mongodb ide" shows some, even free ones). More on reddit.com

Open Sourcing: JSON Schema Viewer by Atlassian (Beautiful docs from JSON Schema)

This tool looks like it could be useful if it was a library I could import and use. Having to manually link schemas to view their docs one by one through the site makes it a lot less useful imo (we have hundreds of different json schemas to describe the data for hundreds of different forms). But I'm guessing that might be the direction this is taking anyways and that this is mainly an MVP of sorts? More on reddit.com
